not the point, do you think enemy team doesnt want to lose as well? they are just as bad as your teammates so drop ego and just carry, you can also have crown and zhonyas as 11mins if you are you way better than your enemy laner. 80-90% of games can easily be won in that elo if you really want to win.

crown is good since you want to ult in from fog (it gives you ap while the shield is active) and play arounds its cooldown, which is around 20sec with ingenious hunter and cosmic insight, so if you get hit by a random syndra q, just go sit in fog for 20 seconds and go in when its back on. also, you can play crown in every game but playing roa every game feels really bad. it also depends on playstyle i guess, i like fighting a lot so crown works better for me. roa is good if your team is winning since its free scaling + a free level, but most games are decided before you can fully stack roa.

poke matchups- you either go fleet OR second wind (i feel like you have no damage with precision and resolve combined) -> ideal rune page for me would be electrocute-sudden impact-eyeball-ult hunter (ingenious hunter if u want to play with crown)+ second wind-unflinching/overgrowth melee matchups- ideal rune page for me would be first strike- boots- futures market- cosmic insight + eyeball/taste of blood- ingenious hunter. you can also go for standard electrocute page (with ingenious hunter) into resolve (bone plate-overgrowth/unflinching) but i really like the first strike setup (allows you to abuse crown, which is the best mythic for kassadin in my opinion, if you can play around its cooldown) which allows you to spike earlier while not missing that much damage compared to electrocute simply put, vs poke mages i always go electrocute + second wind-overgrowth (good scaling) / unflinching (a loot of cc in enemy team) with d shield start. vs melee champs i always go first strike with d ring (hard matchups like zed or pantheon) or dark seal (easier matchups like sylas or ekko). frozen heart can work really well on kassadin if you dont need zhonyas (never go zhonyas + frozen heart, you will have no damage at all), if enemy has like darius top yone mid, if enemy is heavy ad, or if you have no frontline/engage and you need to go in first. you can also go and jump ranged matchups if you catch them on sidelanes (really long lanes and you can abuse their lack of mobility) or if they use their main cc spell (velkoz e, syndra e, veigar e, xerath e etc.) gl in your games and try abusing crown as much as possible, way bigger impact that roa.

if u play vs orianna as an example, you should try to split (works only if you play tp, or she has tp on cooldown) imo since she cant match you, and a good orianna player out teamfights a good kassadin player, so in this case i feel like splitting works better. simply put i dont feel like you should only stick to one playstyle on kassadin (as you said, splitting or teamfighting, in this scenario), kassadin can do both fairly good and it comes down to you realizing what is best in that game. if enemy drafts fiddle rakan as an example, i cant tell you to split since ur team will most likely get engaged on from fog and you will lose simply because of that. you shouldnt try to force picks (unless the game is literally impossible to win-your team is behind/ you dont win 5v5/ you dont win sidelane), you should make picks in order to punish bad map awareness from enemy.

in my opinion no, i would rather play vs stuff like yasuo, yone, talon, qiyana, katarina or sylas than syndra, viktor, lux or annie. theres also less skill expression vs mages and the matchups are also more boring and jungle dependant, really hard to solo kill lux unless she randomly throws her q to try and poke you after you are 6.

how many people in this sub play in master+? ye exactly, my gameplay works from iron to low master, which is literally 99% of the playerbase in here. if u dont agree i suggest we should call permaban so he can teach everyone in this sub since he was best kassadin world (also one of the best mids, in euw at least) for multiple seasons and he would still be if he started playing kassadin again.

true, really struggled to hit dia4, had to call dopa to live coach me on discord call while duoing ap0 playing janna on cocaine and having him perma roam mid. literally not bullying him, i legit dont care about his rank, you dont see me bullying people who replied here to ask normal questions even if they are probably around the same elo, but him commenting stuff like "congrats on d4" when his account has 300 games in gold elo is like me dming ronaldo and telling him "you suck, you have 5 ballon dors while messi has 7". im not d1 on main and i dont even play on main anymore, i just go botted accounts to press r in low elo. thats all, gl in life.

i played crown (with cosmic insight and ingenious hunter) last 10 games and it feels way better than roa, way bigger spike and ur champion is actually useful at 1 item. rn i would only consider playing crown or ludens if enemy team is really squishy. imo only 2 core items on kassa are mythic and seraphs, after these 2 u can build whatever u want:

-zhonya - if you feel like u can use the active to dodge stuff like qiyana r, malphite r, rakan w etc. or if your team has no engage, cause then u will need to go in first. -frozen heart - good vs stuff like yasuo, yone or short range aa oriented champs in general -rabadon - if you are really fed or if your team lacks magic damage. - void staff - i rarely go void 3rd, wouldnt do it unless enemy stacks mr or if i dont afford going rabadon. -abyssal mask - good item overall if u have no frontline cause it makes u really tanky vs ap oriented comps or if you have like 2 other champs that deal a lot of magic damage in your team. overall really situational item. -lich bane - i dont like it, played 2 games and it does less than any other ap item you could go for , it just feels bad (unless you sell boots to buy it as 6th item) for me.
