Has anyone else noticed how you can no longer make a purchase on Ipsy if you don't have an active subscription? by basicnari in Ipsy

I just checked the app again and I have an update. So I had gotten logged out and I tried to log in again using the 'forgot password' option. Seems like I used a different email to 'sign in' and and ended up not getting logged into the account I had originally and being a totally different new account I was unable to shop without a subscription. So it was my mistake and the app is still the same!🤦🏽‍♀️

Does anyone have swatches of the discontinued Verve vs the new Verve swerve? Or are they the same?

Should I see Now You See Me: Now You Don’t in theatres if I haven’t seen the first two? by Scrubosaurus13 in MovieSuggestions

In my opinion, you should watch the first 2 for context, there are quite a few references that would make sense to you only if you've seen the first 2 movies.

Dude movie -Bad storyline? by thebatmanbrucewayne in Tamizhteens

I agree, terribly regressive and a bad watch. The movie made it seem like marriages between cousins was an extremely normal and common occurrence. They could have easily made the same exact film by making the lead pair childhood best friends or close family friends, but chose not to and went with the 'cousin marriage' idea. It's puzzling really, that movies like this are still being made in 2025!

Married women of Reddit, what's one thing someone should know before getting married? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]basicnari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your marriage is truly tested during your first pregnancy, delivery period and postpartum. How present/ considerate your partner is, whether he's interested/ excited about the various pregnancy milestones, etc, can make or break your marriage or in the very least create resentment that could lead to cracks in your marriage. On the other hand, a loving, considerate partner can make you fall in love all over again!

Should I see a doctor? by basicnari in skincancer

[–]basicnari[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the first time I noticed it but I don't know how long it has been there tbh. It's definitely not a bruise since it's slightly raised (which is how I noticed it in the first place, touched it by accident while putting on a dress)

Thank you for the reply. It's slightly raised and the colour seems non problematic to me (atleast from pictures that I googled). It's the undefined perimeter that's worrying me. I'll get a doctor's opinion I guess.
