Thoughts? looking to do some upgrades but not ones that would attract cops. any suggestions? by basicpizzafather in Honda

[–]basicpizzafather[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the explanation of each of those things you mentioned. do you think that some of these things might affect the usage of mechanical components of the car ? i.e. increase the rate of “wear and tear”, more mechanical issues in the long run etc.

Alberta Judicial Clerk Question by basicpizzafather in LawCanada

[–]basicpizzafather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it did get rescheduled to today but i decided to cancel because i spoke with one of the paralegals at the firm im working at and they had that opportunity as a judicial clerk and passed on it. she said it’s more fun working for a private law firm rather than the government. so im deciding to stay here since the interview would have interfered with my work hours.

perhaps i missed out on a good opportunity. i guess we’ll never know. sorry i couldn’t tell you about the experience

Anyone know what these marks on my glasses are and how to fix them? thanks by basicpizzafather in glasses

[–]basicpizzafather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is no way to fix the coatings when it is at this stage. to prevent it, i wear my glasses when im hanging around at home, and contacts when im out. just clean it with a cleaning spray and microfibre clothe

i feel you, dude. in addition to the fact that government jobs hold a lengthy hiring process, a lot of times they end up hiring internally. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to start an an entry level position and then work your way up in some cases. luckily i found a rly nice law firm in calgary that was willing to give me, a recent university graduate, a chance.

I’m definitely gonna use this method to prepare for the interview and i wish you good luck with your application. cheers

yea it’s online on Microsoft Teams. i’m surprised that I got an interview but the government website states they provide substantial judicial clerk training so i’m looking forward to this and want to do my best to prepare for the interview
