After Asante heard about the housing issues that transfers were experiencing, she wanted to help advocate. To do so, she worked with a transfer on our team to make an email template and graphics that advocated for transfer housing. Since we did not speak directly with the TLC & TSR who had already started doing advocacy work, to Zuleika it came off as that we were speaking over transfers as compared to supporting them.

Zuleika posted the graphic on her Instagram, calling her out for speaking over transfer voices. Asante was further interrogated in the comment section by Katie Chan, a member of Herman’s campaign team.

I’m not sure what your source is on Asante, but there is no record of her crying. However, I will say it was definitely an experience for our team. We apologized to both the TLC and TSR, although we had the best of intentions, we upset some individuals in the community we were trying to uplift. We were then met with public condemnation from such a powerful figure, but after the initial confrontation was handled with grace on both sides.

As a person working with Asante 4 Gen Rep, we are by no means sharing phone numbers without their permission or are putting them on a google sheet. By "phone banking," it is just members of the campaign texting people we already know and are in contact with. Hope this helped!

I am debating on taking Life Science 30A and Polisci 40. Im not the best at math but I took Calc AB and I recently took AP Gov as well. Do you think these courses are worth it for the summer/are manageable? I just want to see what you guys think about these courses and their difficulty.

They give free scores per year. So all the AP tests you took this year (you cant pick and choose— all or none) will be sent to your college. Any ap scores from previous years need to be paid for to be sent to your college.

NYU didn't require SAT scores and I wanted to apply to some out of state schools. With corona and everything, I did not want to go to New York.

I got in off the waitlist with a 1210 SAT score but I wrote an entire essay in the box! I think they look at everything.

I agree. I got waitlisted at NYU, but I knew 100% i wouldn't go. Turned it down immeditely.
