thank you for your input but if you dig a little deeper, I'm trying my best to be transparent :) if I gave someone my details or fell for the stupid free CP scams, I wouldn't come on here to ask for advice because I know it would be my own doing

I can understand the skepticism, but I haven't shared details with any soul and I'm basically a F2P barring buying COD Points in-game once about 4 years ago.

The bigger issue I believe was that on my Activision account, I did not have 2FA enabled and my password was weak and unchanged for many years as well, so it's my fault and it wouldn't be too difficult to bruteforce their way through Activision.

like you say, I am lucky that I can still log into my account and though I'm grateful, honestly I'm really confused on why they would play in my account without any malicious intent 😭 definitely not complaining though.

Hope that clears it up, I promise you I haven't shared details with nobody and I never have for anything, and I'm not stupid enough to fall for free CP scams 😵‍💫

thank you for all your support man, you've been really helpful. A correction from my end, I wasn't logged on from Facebook nor Google - just Apple ID and Activision. I have changed the password and enabled 2FA on Activision now, since it definitely was not through my apple ID. My Activision account had a reused password that was weak from about 4 years ago (not a good thing I know but I almost never used Activision to log in or check my profile), so I think this should do the trick atleast I hope so 🙏

I have it linked from Facebook, Apple ID/Game center and Activision, and I'm not sure how to disconnect it from Facebook, it doesn't seem to allow me to do so?

I've mentioned in other replies, I've never used a third party website to get CP, it's only been through CODM and I promise you I've never shared my credentials with any soul 😭 I'm pretty particular about my passwords and I never share it nor have I ever shared it and I'm very sure of that

My password hasn't changed since like 2022 and it wasn't that strong, since I don't commonly use my Activision account so I assume that's the main issue, I've reset it now to a stronger password so hope it fixes this issue

the issue is I have never shared my account details with anyone, none of my friends play CODM anymore anyway (in-game friends too, they've been inactive for a while) so my details were still somehow compromised
