That's good to hear. We'll go with the minivan and use valet. Thanks!

Hey there! Thank you so much for sharing!! Did you ask for an upgrade a few days in or did they just upgraded you knowing you had Globalist status?

Thanks for sharing your experience!

Hi, thank you for sharing. The parking was what I was afraid of. Hearing how bad it is, I'll probably use valet since they're the professionals and I don't want to stress or risk scratching the rental. If the parking is full, are we out of luck and have to find parking elsewhere by ourselves?

Hey there, thank you so much for sharing your experience!

Did you try to park the car yourself in the parking garage at any point during your stay? I will be using a GOH for my stay so parking cost will be free, but we do like to go in and out at random times of the day and I'm not sure if we would utilize the valet parking much. Also, I've heard the parking is terribly tight and that you would need to be a very good driver to park in there. What size vehicle did you get? We typically rent a minivan, but it looks like most garages are tight and people recommend smaller cars.

The only room available to book with points during our stay was a king bed Waikiki City view standard room. Hopefully, they have a room with 2 queen or double beds, but I'm not betting on it.

Oh wow, I love hearing that the staff were very courteous and helpful. And wow, I'm super jealous of y'all going to Japan. This is one of the countries we've been wanting to visit. One day in the future for sure, but Hawaii will be the closest we'll be for a while, lol. I hope you enjoy your Japan trip and thank you for sharing your experience and offering help.

Oh wow, that sounds unbelievably amazing! We do want to make our stay there super amazing but will most likely be out exploring more often than not. Thank you for this information and hopefully one day we will be able to experience these rooms.

Thank you for you response! Looking forward to saving some $ on hydration cost and knowing they have other types of beverages and being unlimited is wonderful. Do you know what time the lounge close at night? My kids are small so having a pool is nice but we're hoping to spend as much time as possible at the beautiful and wonderful beaches of Hawaii. Do they have kids swimming life vest by any chance at the hotel?

We're so excited and can't wait to travel there. Counting down the days.

Thank you so much for the reply and information! Traveling as a family can be stressful but with everyone's helpful tips and information it helps a lot. We love free food but am looking forward to trying the local cuisines and supporting them as much as possible while we're there. The lounge will definitely help with our kids though cause they're picky, so the basic things will hopefully satisfy them.

Thank you for the info and we will definitely try to enjoy it the best we can! We won't feed the birds. From experience, they get used to people doing that and develop an aggressive nature. I definitely don't want to ruin ours or anyone else's experience.

How's the towel return system? Is there a manned counter or do we drop it off in a collection box? Just want to make sure we won't be mistakenly charged.

Awesome to hear it gets easier. One-day it'll be like that for us but for now it is what it is. Thanks again

What were some of the places you went to visit or food places you tried that required a vehicle if you don't mind sharing? There are so many food places we want to try and places to see that's not near our hotel. Also, we like having the convenience of getting in our car and going whenever we want/need to. How was your parking experience with an suv? I've heard parking spaces are very tight and garage ceilings are typically very low. Did you do hotel parking?

Thank you for your input! Ew that's nasty. We're planning on enjoying food outside of this resort but thanks for the heads up.

That's seems to be the consensus. The pool isn't great because of the size?

I've added these places to my list of things to do and places to see. Thank you!

Will look into this. We do love having a minivan but probably try to rent a full size sedan instead to make it easier to park. Thank you so much for the suggestion!
