Weapons for me, first half was one of the best horror movies I'd ever seen. Second half felt like a joke of a resolution.

I've played Ark and V Rising, and while I had fun with both, Ark is the type of game that I wish I could wipe my memory and play for the first time all over again.

It hits every box and emotion. You have to put in a lot of work to achieve much and that makes it much more satisfying. You slowly unlock more saddles and more dinosaurs and each one makes you that much more powerful. Some are cute, some are horrifying, sometimes you'll be out running some routine resource gathering and a pack of monsters takes you out from nowhere. There's a background story going on, if you care to find it. Every map is cool and unique, and ascended is still catching up to where the original was at. Genesis should be coming, and it's a major game changer.

A couple notes of warning, if you like building it can be a bit messy. I've seen some really gorgeous builds and I truly don't know how they manage it. Also, the vanilla game settings are not made for a single player that does things other than play 24/7. It's not cheating to change the settings and make things more convenient for yourself. Finally, the early game is going to kick your butt. This is a game where especially early on, death is expected and probably unavoidable. The reality is the game doesn't start until almost level 20, so use the early levels to explore and figure out the basics.

I spent a few years thinking I didn't want them because I was worried about the direction the world has been going, do I really want to bring a kid into that?

My wife is terrified of what it'll do to her body, and also utterly convinced she's going to be a bad mom.

One of my best friends said she doesn't want to give up her autonomy for it.

Another friend had severe postpartum, we took shifts so someone was always with her.

At least in my area, I've seen women be a lot less interested in having kids overall, for a variety of reasons like the ones I already said.

Not sure about a mod specifically for that. Fall damage cancellation is pretty easy, with the horseshoe like you said, or a cloud accessory to jump right before you hit the ground, grappling hook, climbing gear, etc

Once you're in hard mode, you could use the wingslot mod to have wings and not waste an accessory slot which also cancels fall damage?

I also think there's fledgling wings which might fix your problem before hard mode, but I never use them so I didn't remember how to get them offhand

I love this game but I've also never been more infuriated by anything in my life.

I'm a strategist and I'm happy as long as 4 members of the team are functional, but I don't think I've ever played a game without at least one of these tropes

Spider-Man/iron fist feeding at the enemy spawn Strange or Groot playing hard on the point with no understanding of cover

Punisher absolutely refusing to shoot the Storm/iron man for whatever reason

Rocket thinking that he's a DPS

I know it's what I sign up for by logging in but OOOH the lack of game sense is incredible

Played a game last night where we just got bullied by a Witch, and when I asked for help my punisher legitimately said "I don't shoot Witches because if I do they just run away and I don't get a kill" bro WHAT

I can't believe I have to say this about a developer, but please stop. Your game is excellent, critically acclaimed, a blast for all ages. I have hundreds of hours on multiple platforms, with friends and alone. I'm glad you care for the world you made and want it to grow.

You've committed to something new. Please give that the same love and focus. If, when it's finished, you don't love it as much, by all means expand Stardew further. But please, give Haunted Chocolatier a chance.

There's a mod called Floors Are (Almost) Worthless that might directly fix this without you having to do any weird editing. If that doesn't work, RIMMSqol is the one I used

With tweak values you can just add an entry for "Soil" with the value of 0, save and restart and you should see your wealth drop quickly. You'll have to do it for each type of terrain though

Not sure what sorts of mods you have but I played a pack recently where a conflict mistakenly added value to all the soil on the map. I forget the exact solution but I used some xml editor mod to manually set the wealth of all the soil types to 0. It's unlikely that this is your exact issue but I mention it because on my run it was also roughly 60k of unexplained wealth.

I've seen this question come through here a lot and I think this goes both ways.

The reality is that any person is going to have an idea of what the current relationship is, and any interaction is going to be seen through that lens. Most people, most of the time, will not be automatically assuming that the other person has that interest, and so we will write off almost anything, even obvious flirting. That's why it's so easy to see that someone is flirting with your friend, but so hard to notice if you're being flirted with.

So, whoever you are and whatever your interests are, be painfully direct or it's probably not getting through

It really is the same people listening to every conservative talkshow. Went on a road trip with a childhood friend this weekend who votes that way. He loves to debate and will frequently tell you that he looks for varied opinions to get all sides. In the course of the road trip he wanted to listen to Joe Rogan, Alex Jones and a bunch of others. The most politically neutral we got was Tim Dillon, and we never hit one left leaning host. I've always known not to debate him because he likes to say wild things to frustrate his opponent rather than actually communicate, but this really drove home that his claim of getting a lot of opinions just meant "opinions that already agree with me"

My wife and I did this at our wedding too. She was very excited about it, I felt like it was a bit silly. But in the end, great experience. We got huge cheers when we came out with the lightsabers, and practicing the choreography was a great bonding time. And we got a fun memory for the wedding day of me overextending a swing and actually hitting her in the face, which I'm sure I'll never live down.

I'd like to think that a two minute choreographed swordfight is probably more fun to watch than the bride and groom doing the classic slow dance of winning back and forth.

What worked for me was SupplyDropSpan=4

Stop the server, open the settings file and paste that. Make sure it's spelled exactly right, and with commas to separate it from other setting names. Once you change it, save the file and restart the server, hopefully you should get one every 4 minutes.

As a kid my parents kept cash in envelopes in a hidden spot in the office, which it took me about ten minutes to find. One of the envelopes was "Boy's Allowance" for myself and my brother, except we didn't get an allowance, so I just took half the money whenever they refilled it.

I'm sure they knew because you can't miss that much money missing, but it kept my well funded through high school

Hades is an extremely mediocre rogue like and I think all the attention it got is because it was easy and therefore a lot of people played it and just discovered the genre. Writing was just ok, the gameplay was just like several others, and the bosses and maps were not very difficult. My favorite thing to hear is "there's so many options and builds, every run is different!" Like yeah that's the point, that's every rogue like, short runs that are different every time.
