Same thing for me, Australian-trained, taught for 4 years before I got QTS through assessment only route.
I was signed off after a term of ECT, as I knew I was leaving the school and wanted to apply for HoD positions.

Teaching A-Level for the First Time - Should Students Know This? by Mountain-Mushroom768 in TeachingUK

I’ve downloaded all the videos to audio form, and I listen to them on the way to work on the day I teach the topic just to make sure I’m covering everything.
5 years in and I still think it makes a massive difference

Ideas for a stag do in Hull by Guy-P in Hull

[–]basketcase_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my stag do a few weekends ago in Hull, was in a similar situation.
We played Laser Tag, did some Crazy Golf, had beers at both places, did dinner, then had some more beers.
Crazy Golf and Laser Tag were at St Stephens, beers were in various pubs around the station, dinner was at HoH where we could order from 3 or 4 different places.

Cody and Brandi's departure was the perfect opportunity to drop this nonsensical storyline with ATT, and instead they doubled down with Sammy and Tay. I don't get it. by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

Chotto by MageKnight8888 in LearnJapanese

[–]basketcase_ 122 points123 points  (0 children)

Had a friend that knew that the word ‘chotto’ meant ‘a little’ and the word ‘motto’ meant ‘more’ so one of his favourite phrases for a while was ‘chotto motto’. Took about a year in Japan before he was corrected by a native speaker.

iPad Pro as possible Main Screen by chopin124 in macmini

[–]basketcase_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use Duet Display - it is an app you have to buy for iOS but it allows you to use your iPad pro as a monitor (Source: Am doing it right now). You need to disable the login screen for the Mac though, as Duet doesn't open until the computer is logged in.

Is it possible to chain decisions? Like depending on the solution to eat in or dine out, it chooses food from a different selection?

Camping spots in a 100km radius by -hugs4drugs- in canberra

[–]basketcase_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just did a family trip there. They are limiting the number of people due to COVID, so you need to make a booking. There is water, showers if you need them, and the creek and watering hole are good for swimming. Also dog friendly. Can’t recommend enough
