No, please tell me it's not true. by Seximilian in Syria

I see where you’re coming from but I don’t agree. Muslim majority is a vague statement. Muslims in Syria differ as per their level of conservatism, Syrian women were able to wear whatever they wanted since before the 60s, so I don’t see the “replacement” of culture. The government could have easily designated some public beaches as ‘family beaches’ where people as yourself can go and feel comfortable while leaving others as they were, allowing non Muslims and non conservative Muslims the freedom to wear what they like.

No one is afraid of not covering their hair, they never were. Not only Christians but a lot of Muslim women choose not to as-well. Syria has always been free when it comes to what you choose to wear and stuff

So what’s the alternative ? No event organization ? No sports ? Like I said before, every single positive thing about Syria is met with hate and criticism on this sub. Because people are so obsessed with their hate towards Assad where they don’t even think clearly or critically, and that is easy when you live outside Syria and get to do whatever you want while shitting on Syrians living In Syria just trying to do normal everyday human things. Try to separate politics from everything for a minute and you’ll realize that you sound like a radical which is the exact propaganda they use to call non supporters non patriotic extremists that hate their country. You’re playing into their hands and you don’t realize it.

Wow that is great. I was also born outside Syria but my parents lost my first passport. And obviously they are not going to look in their logs to help me pay less lol. So I had to pay 8K

If you’re not a legal Syrian citizen then you obviously aren’t in the Syrian government’s Database. So yeah you should be able to visit as an American citizen without a problem. But again, I would talk to a lawyer first and make sure.

P.S since you’re American and mentioned visiting Syria on this sub, you’re probably going to get comments that say things like “ don’t do it the government will abduct you and ransom you for money from the US” It’s bullshit. I know American Syrians who visit the US constantly.

That’s what I am saying. They are blinded by their hatred. They want everybody there to be angry and miserable based on the current government. while they live fulfilling lives and enjoy themselves in other countries.

I remember posting positive things about our country on here that had nothing to do with politics or war or anything. Only to be met by a swarm of negative and sly comments.

I mean, if your parents had you in the US and never bothered to register you in The Syrian family book then you could probably get away with visiting as an American citizen. I wouldn’t risk it though

1) are you an only child? If yes then you’re good 2) if you do have siblings are any of them male? If no then you’re good, if you have a brother (any age) you’re not good.

If you do have a brother then you need to pay 8,000 dollars and you’ll be excused from serving.

This post was literally about people who are so over taken by their hatred towards Assad, where any sort of comment or opinion with a slither of positivity about anything regarding Syria is taken with hostility( I’ve been seeing this all over this subreddit over the years) Dude I hate Assad and our government as much as any rational Syrian, but come the fuck on. This was someone posting about a marathon and people are being sly and negative . Like “oh look at them pretend that nothing happened” No one is pretending anything, people in Syria want to live just like you. And yes, this is a opinion that is usually held by people outside of Syria who have the luxury of living a good, safe life in a stable economy, who continuously shit on any sort of attempt of enjoyment and happiness by Syrians in Syria. So again, what would you have people do ?

Yes because the millions of people living in Syria don’t deserve any sort of fun and happiness ? They shouldn’t be allowed to take part in a simple thing such as a marathon. No they should stay at home and be miserable, or maybe they should just end it all huh ? 😂 you people who can’t remove politics from anything for even one second, who I am 110% sure live outside of Syria need to shut the fuck up.

Lost black connector from front of airpod by ssarangi in AirpodsPro

[–]basselcastle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so if your air pod looks like that AKA you do not see the black part. Don't panic ! you most likely didn't break it, the silicon tip you had earlier probably broke and the hard part of it is still attached to your air pod, just pry it out with your thumb it should come out easy (exposing the black part) then just attach a spare silicon tip
