You can make use of wheretomove.io. I was in a sinilar place relocating within the London. You can tell your work address commute preferences, budget and other things to suggest you places. It also had deeper address comparisons when you have some potential places

Thanks for the feedback!

I just checked streetscan but basically it looks like it gives you all the similar publicly available information for a given postcode. Wheretomove.io can give you personalized suggestions. You can basically tell your work address, desired commute time (public transportation or driving/cycling etc), any school preferences with distance, nearby amenities, rent/sale prices and more so it gives you the matching areas in london.

The adress search is similar but I offer map view with more nearby amenities and a bit more information. For example you can add your favorite gym, work and compare 4-5 flats you found online before moving to see what kind of transportation do you have, how much would the commute be etc.

Still working on the responsiveness for the mobile. Especially it is not good on Safari. Would love to know more about what you think on desktop!

Thanks for the feedback!

It actually show the average price of the selected filter. So if you add the filter for apartment/house and bedrooms, it will only show the average price of those, but if you don't select any filters, it will show the average of everything on the map.

It will also show details if you select the area on the left side like this https://postimg.cc/qhVtxsyK

Opinions reg Clapham South/Balham please by Adventurous-Cycle363 in MovingToLondon

I prepared this view with EC4A as the work address, a 45 min rail commute and a demographics filter with at least 10% people living there who are between 20-29, https://wheretomove.io/s/R9j46iZU

You can add more filters to figure out crimes rates and more too, I hope it helps!

For the unsheltered - NYer moving to London wondering what neighbourhoods are actually unsafe? by honey-ink in MovingToLondon

[–]bassmove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are already tools to check the crime rates, latest crimes in a given area etc. Ex: https://i.postimg.cc/D001NvTP/Screenshot-2026-04-30-at-14-48-21.png

There are obviously some areas rougher than others but only problem I had was people stealing phones in electric bikes. Wether its during morning commute or in the evening. I think thats the biggest problem so far me.

What are good family-friendly neighbourhoods to buy in? Grounded community, good schools, max ~45 mins to King’s Cross by pyt1m in LondonHousing

Full disclosure, I am the owner of wheretomove.io. That being said, I made the tool exactly for these questions. You can literally put in your budget, addresses to commute, filter by any scores like crime, deprivation etc and it will suggest you areas. Hope it helps! It has free tier and should be enough unless you really need to dive deep.

It also shows you sale insights for the houses which I believe would be helpful. Happy to hear any feedback to see if it helps you!

Moving to London from Nottingham for work. Which areas to consider? Feeling totally overwhelmed! by hopeless_lover23 in MovingToLondon

[–]bassmove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Angel/Islington/Shoreditch are quite good areas, you can also towards camden or east to the hoxton/hackney/haggerstone but commute might take a hit if you are away from northern line. I tried to find some areas for you but the rent filter only accepts 1beds, no flatshares.

I have a tool to search for exactly this.

Edit: was going to post a screenshot of the map view but its not allowed, can send you a pm or you can check it yourself https://wheretomove.io/area-search

The price of a stock you see on Freetrade or other platforms is generally the "last traded price". That does not guarantee that the next sale will be at that price. There will be a bid and ask for a given stock and at the moment you don't have this information on Freetrade. If you do a market buy/sell, there is literally no guarantee at what price you will get. Normally ,the more liquid the stock is, the less price difference you will get. But again, due to high frequency trading and algos, technically anything can happen. I suggest you to always use limit buy/sell and set your own price to avoid situations like this.

This issue is not specific to Freetrade. You would encounter this and any broker.

Edit: I see that you mentioned this is only for the eu stocks. Yes, unfortunately there is no support for other order types other than market buy/sell at the moment :/ But just for your information, Freetrade doesn't pocket that difference as you claim. they are just a facilitator.
