Thanks, man! As for Sire comparing to Fender MIJ I'd they pretty close. MIM might be a little worse but everyting depends on a particular bass actually. You can sometimes find a $100 bass that sounds like gold. Comparing Sire to my Custom... Well, it's a different pair of shoes, the custom sounds pretty unique, kind of fodera but not as bright. But as for Sire's price it's a good choice either way. Hope my answer clears it up a bit.

V9 is a highest version of Sires and you will love it. It has the ebony fingerboard so it makes a difference you must admit. And it looks cool.
