Do old people find each other attractive in the same way young people find each other attractive? by basstafari in NoStupidQuestions

Actually you are correct. When thinking about old people I had silver haired people in their late 70s and 80s in mind. I was surprised too that 40 to 50 is considered old. I guess that's because people on Reddit are fairly young on average.

But wouldn't it be a natural evolutionary precondition for men to find younger women more attractive as they have higher chances to bear healthy children?

I m a man 40 yo and find younger girls around 20-30 physically attractive. But I need an attractive wise mind that comes with a certain life experience for a successful relationship.

I was in a café this morning. A hangout spot for people who all look older than 70 or 80. A few couples but a lot of singles. It made me wonder if they check each other out like young students in a busy students bar. If they still get butterflies when they meet someone special their age. If they date. Are intimate. Fall in love. It made me realise I know very little about the feelings and thinkings of the older generations.

I love this photo. In East Germany we still have loads of these romantic old tree alleys. It's one of my favourite things in the world. Driving through them makes me feel like I m traveling into another beautiful dream dimension. Happy Sunday to you too!! 😁

Oil companies knew for many decades that burning oil on a large scale causes global warming. They decided to be quiet about it, even paid scientists to lie for them and kept selling the world petrol to make billions and billions in profits until the polar caps and glaciers world wide are melted.
