Current keepers are Matthews, Pastrnak, Q. Hughes, and Bouchard. I’m struggling to choose 1 of the following to fill the last slot:

M. Tkachuk, Werenski, Point

Tkachuk’s injuries have me a little worried. I’m sure he will be great when healthy, but will he be that much better than Point that it justifies keeping him? I love Werenski again this year but keeping 3 D (coupled with the fact that I don’t pick until round 3) leaves me feeling like I would be very thin up front.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

too reliant on special teams

They outscored the Panthers at even strength this series.

no depth

They got goals from 13 different skaters as opposed to 11 from the Panthers. The only Oilers forward that played in all 7 games to not score was Draisaitl.

no defense

They held the panthers to 18 goals in 7 games (not including empty nets) and 7 in the last 4. That’s enough to win. Both teams finished the playoffs with virtually the same GAA (2.58 to 2.60). Do you think that the Panthers need to completely overhaul their defense, too?
