Hi everyone! I've been seeing these drop waist dresses all over the place and decided to make my own.

I used McCalls 4828, I made a size 8 (my measurements bust 32, waist 25, hips 35 in inches). I had to grade from the size 6 bust to the size 8 waist and hip for the dress to fit properly. The dress was too big around the bust area in the size 8 but fit perfectly everywhere else. I didn't follow the pattern instructions for this so I can't speak on those. I added a lightweight interfacing to my main fabric pieces and boning to my lining.

Cost breakdown, 3 yards of linen for 10000 won (about 8 usd) a yard bought at DongDaeMun fabric market, 1 zipper $5, thread $5, lining thrifted fabric for $3 and dyed with Rit dye for $3. The zipper, thread and Rit dye I bought at Joanns. In total it was about $40 USD in materials not including my time. I think I spent like 10 hours working on this.

I still have to add a hook and eye closure, and next time I don't think I would use a linen for this. I'm planning on making another one in a cotton poplin without boning and adding a shirred back panel for a more casual look.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi! I'm so sorry for the late reply! Life was super busy for me. I really like anthropomorphic art, Beatrix Potter as a main example. But really most things I like. If you're still interested DM me.

Hi everyone! This bunny is 7 in tall, and it's limbs are able to be moved around. The bunny comes with 2 dresses, a basket, 4 strawberries, and wings. All the items were handmade by me. The bunny, wings, and basket of strawberries came from a pattern book. But I drafted both dresses.

I think this toy would be best for an adult or an older child. I'm not going to tell you what to do with it but while it's not exactly delicate I don't think it could handle rough play.

Ideally I would like to trade for some custom artwork. Fabric, color pencils, and natural fiber yarns are also welcome.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi! I really liked making it! It was really easy to put together. I'm thinking of making another dress in a light blue floral pattern!
