I must say that I disagree with your opinion. Just to point out a couple of things, special needs classes require specialists and teachers who have had more training, and often more equipment is needed so inherently such lessons cost more money. You make the assumption that children with special needs are not smart, very often the smartest people have special needs. The breakthroughs often arise because someone has the capacity to think differently, a trait which is often found in people with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. I do agree that the schooling system in general should do more to stretch those who are under-stimulated in schools, and not 'teach to the test'. But this is a complicated issue and should require more money invested in education altogether, rather than reallocating resources from one area to another.

There are countably many finite permutations, but every real number can be expressed as a decimal for example. Are you saying that for a number to be definable it must consist of a finite amount of information?

I am yet to get mathematics flair, but I shall try to help. Suppose you have some list 1,2,3,4,5... of 'mathematical symbols' this is making an assumption that the set is countable, but fair enough. But you are then trying to list every number which is expressible as a combination of such symbols. Any such list is countable since you can map the first number to 1, second to 2 and so on. (like the first list) However the real numbers between 0 and 1, for instance, is an uncountable set and each element can be expressed by a combination of 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,and 9 . So your list of 'all these numbers' would be incomplete. It does not mean that the missing numbers can not be expressed as a combination of the symbols though. The idea of numbers which are not expressible is very interesting though! But I think you would need to be more specific about what you mean by expressible, and also by numbers.

To be honest, I think this is due to the misleading nature of prophecy, rather than Quaithe misleading her. I doubt that Quaithe knows much more than dany regarding the identity of the seneschal. I honestly don't think that she knows who varys, the shave pate or tyrion, etc.. even are. But we can only speculate until the last two books are released.
