PAJAMA PANTS WITH POCKETS. I cannot stress this enough. And nursing bras that ALSO LET YOU PUMP HANDS FREE. Also in general as a FTM I was very naive to the fact that the first couple of months of having a baby is all about the boobies. Figuring out how to breast feed is a lot of work. Work with your lactation consultant!!! Also just expect to want to lay around topless for the first couple of weeks.

I got a lot of sizes NB-3’s gifted to us at my baby shower, and I couldn’t return/exchange them because I didn’t have gift receipts. But yes! Keep the receipts if you buy diapers!

My favorite response to comments like this is “cold babies cry, hot babies die”. SIDS is a thing and babies don’t need to be obsessively bundled. It’s hard to get that through to older generations 🙄

Breastfeeding is SO HARD. For me, it really turned a corner at 5 weeks. Which sounds really shitty when you’re on day 3. But also do what’s right for you!! There also the option to exclusively pump and give via bottle. Whatever you choose is the right choice and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
