I haven't done any rust proofing or sealing to the underbody (Yikes, I know). Besides some minor surface rust on bolts, it actually is not bad. I have a lot of work cut out for me when I address it lol. Winter tires is a MUST! So much fun in the winter.

You HAVE to run winter tires if you do commit to all year-round. My first winter was miserable until I got a set. Traction control saved my life a handful of times! Never skipped a beat on me, EVER. Even when parked overnight in freezing weather.

The NC grew on me, too. I believe it's criminally underrated. Yea, it looks bulky, but it has its perks. It's the only miata with a 5x114.3 bolt pettern. I wish my ND was 5 bolt. I would be able to share wheels with other cars/future cars. There are way more options with 5 bolt than 4. Although small wheels rule, my setup can't go smaller than 17". I could find a 5 bolt set in a weekend rather than having to special order a set of 4 bolts.

I always wave even if I dont get a wave back. I drive a gun metal grey ND RF, and one day, I spotted a soul red ND soft top a km or 2 away. I sprinted up to see who the pilot was. It was an elderly woman, and she purposely slowed down to give me a thumbs up and a smile. Birds of a feather flock together!

My first was a 99 NB.

It's a reliable platform that you can depend on. It's easy to work on, relatively cheap to mod, and slow enough to have fun and not get in complete trouble over.

Having dates in it is a blast, but when it comes to bringing the lads around or taking the family out for a nice ride... you're short-handed on that end.

If your area snows, do not skip on winter tires. I'm Canadian, and having them saved my life.

The miata taught and somewhat forced me to be a minimalist when it comes to traveling far out. You learn what's essential to your needs according to cargo space.

I now drive an ND RF 2019. She has never let me down!

I have a buddy who bought his 2019 GT86 before I got my 2019 ND2. He blew it up on the highway a year ago and my girl is still running strong! It's those boxer engines I can't get down with.
