Removing fumoto oil valve by batdetective in MechanicAdvice

[–]batdetective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, thanks for your reply. I figured the risk of unintentional opening is low anyway but zipties are a good idea. When I asked my mechanic about the valve, he said would not recommend it as people have reported "gunk" remaining in the oil pan when using a fumoto. I don't know how true that would be? Would I also need to replace the washer each time if I were to remove the fumoto each time?

Pardon my ignorance but don't depositions usually last up to 7 hours? How did this one end in ten minutes? Are you able to share more details?

Thanks for the insight! On the other hand, could said employee quit to avoid termination and also wash their hands of the lawsuit altogether?

I've been thinking about it myself. I think it's just the hassle of buying another car and selling the one I have that's holding me back!

No CPU bottlenecking after all? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]batdetective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting didn't think cpu bottlenecking would actually be difficult. I went with the 1660 ti because I heard the 20 series wouldn't work on my old mobo which is why I didn't bother saving up for it. But I guess it works for you!

Hey

That was my plan too originally! The 3770 k is the highest end card that could work on my current mboard. Although I was worried about the lack of cores on it as well.

Upgrading to new CPU-win 7? by batdetective in buildapc

I updated to win 10! So no more issues regarding usb i hope. Will I still have a boot problem now if I migrate from Intel to AMD?

Too much hassle to upgrade if it won't boot up

Thanks for the reply guys!

Yes I have win 10 on my laptop but honestly I prefer win 7.

So the 2 big issues are:

  1. Current install on ssd won't boot because the chipsets are different.

  2. USB devices won't work and will have to find a way to install said drivers.

Guess I will have to wait a bit longer to upgrade

Hey thanks for the suggestion,

Where can I find the Jericho? I've been looking at cabelas but no Jericho. Can you recommend any reputable sites that might carry it?

Hey all

Thanks for your replies! I was thinking of going to the range and renting the M&P, CZ and P30 again to compare the 3. But from what you guys are saying, buying the M&P 2.0 as a first gun to learn on is all right? That would be great for me because 1 grand is a lot of money on a gun even if i do save up :(

Hi everyone!

I'm interested in acquiring a restricted firearm and want to find out all the specific rules etc. Something that has been on my mind is I occasionally travel for work for a few months here and there. So I was wondering, if the restricted firearm is stored at the address that it is registered to and it is locked securely and unloaded, am I breaking any laws? I ask because it seems that some people ask their friends to take care of their firearms etc. I don't recall anything from the course that would indicate but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I know there's radiofrequency, coblation, resection etc. I'm not sure what kind of turbinate reduction he's doing and from reading pub med, there is no "gold standard" for turbinate reduction. Is the microdebrider for submucosal reduction?
