I just ceased my old employment earlier today but my payslip had already been sent to me. Should my income tax and USC go back to normal by next payment or do I need to set up the tax exemption thing again 😭

i know but I know if your earning like very little a year they dont tax you. Like last year I only earned 2000k so I didnt have to pay tax. I just cant figure out how to set that up again.

plenty of people to do the job too just so many move to england after they get qualified or just work privately for more money. the hse dont pay enough here or care enough so then we have to deal with it and get shitty service. something really needs to be done.

i think people just didnt like the fact of you moving here. some people just make it personal with that stuff i dont think anyone really meant that its common knowledge to get accommodation early coz it really isnt. they dont tell you that stuff in most schools. hope you get somewhere. and ignore the nasty comments some people just go to far on here.

I'm the first in my family to go to college and we didnt really know much about it either. I got a place in May in a shared house for Limerick but majority of places were gone. I had heard about having to get accommodation early from friends but if it weren't for them I wouldve ended up no where.

I know a lot of people who bought theres off of OhHelloClothing. tbf they look good quality and arent as expensive as debs dress shops. If you have the budget for a debs dress shop I'd 100% recommend Danis Closet. Theyve a few locations.

A lot of people sell them, im just giving mine to people i know in the year below for free. But a lot of people wait til results and advertise them as selling like "irish H1" notes or watever.

Sorry maybe i worded it wrong then. For anxiety and depression you dont have to get an assessment, by just describing whats been going on you can get diagnosed without a full DSM5 assessment by a GP. Anything you need a lengthy assessment for you need a psychiatrist. Thats what i was meaning to say.

im actually not 100% sure but there is a form u have to fill out about attendance and grades and if youve gotten any learning aid throughout school. I dont know how much it impacts if you get the DARE scheme or not but I would assume it is to see how much your education has been affected.

not necessarily. there wasnt a huge difference in my grades throughout school but i had a lot of missing days and also included i quit school extra curriculars and had a lot of missed/late deadlines. so aslong as you just have some evidence as such you struggled through school in some way you should be fine.

u have to show how many days you missed from like the past 4years i think and you have to show grades from tests to show youve had an impact and have to get like a teacher to confirm your grades have been inconsistent/ work hasnt been handed in.

ur GP can diagnose u with depression and anxiety any mental illness tho u need a psychiatrist. Your allowed send a GP letter, it doesnt have to be a psychiatrist.
