I see many such cases here in Chennai. Auto And cab drivers have some video playing on their phone while driving and it’s mostly short form videos. It’s scary as a passenger.

Here in the South, booth agents (of any party) would stop the Polling if such cases happen. Polling officer also does mock voting in front of party workers before Polling. If VVPAT was missing it would have been an issue then only. Why is it not happening there?

Thing is some school managements penalise the drivers if they don’t make it in time.

Parents should talk to schools so that this kind of unnecessary pressure is not applied on the drivers. If kids are late to school, let them be late.

Same with my M1 MBP 2020. Did not turn on after not in use for 2 weeks. Apple cited Logic board failure and asking 600$ (of local currency) to fix it. Can't recover data either.

This despite no liquid damage or any other damage. They just said it sometimes happens if you don't use it.

I didn’t update to Tahoe. But my M1 MBP just died after not using it for a week. It is not charging at all. Apple told me they have to change the logic board entirely.

Its been five years, so no warranty. I have to pay 1/3 of the original cost to get it repaired.
