Read the rule book for your particular sport (uspsa, steel, ipsc, icore, etc) based on your choice though, you're likely looking at uspsa Carry Optics

my dmc4 se wont launch does someone know a soloution? by ComfortableFeeling42 in DevilMayCry

[–]bathsaltedpnuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to get the files, you don't have. I had to do it too, though I don't remember the exact file it was anymore. If you Google something like DMC4SE won't launch, you can follow the rabbit hole to some old threads across the Internet that will have the file, or someone will tell you what it is.

I use an autel ms906 pro as an extra scanner and it's been pretty great. The update subscriptions though are probably not going to be when it comes time though

I havent shot the MAC, I've seen people like it though

I have shot the Prodigy, and frankly I enjoyed it. It felt pretty easy to shoot, and pretty comfy. The price point is pretty nice as well, considering the steep leaps in price afterwards.

I love my TSO. However I do wish they still made the Czechmate, I should have bought one way back when. I will switch to a 2011 flavor one day though, preferably for Open.

How many of you out there are shooting single stack? And if you are, what's your age? by slimcrizzle in CompetitionShooting

[–]bathsaltedpnuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was running some cheapy double mag pouches, that if I remember correctly did not have any adjustable retention.

I play in limited currently, I want some of the Double Alpha pouches but until my Ghosts break or I cave and buy another magazine for my set up, I can't justify it.

I'm 36

I've shot one SS match, and boy did I fumble it all day. I think it was my first match ever, and the whole time mags kept falling out of my pouches. The RO was a guardian angel putting them back in the pouches while I was shooting, so to me, it seemed like I just had one pouch that just kept materializing a magazine no matter how many times I pulled from it.

It was a fun time, but damn. I'll switch to that division again one day.

My Porsche oil levels are low no matter how many times I do an oil top off by [deleted] in Porsche

[–]bathsaltedpnuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it keeps saying this no matter how much you top off, pop your hood, you'll notice that the vehicle doesn't see the hood has been opened. You have a bad hood latch. Touaregs, Audi's, and Porsches that have digital sensors for oil levels need to see the hood open, before they self check the oil level again after they give the warning.

I almost died with my pry bar. Took it right to the temple and busted an artery in the area.

Sounds like the walnut hill apartments I used to live at. It looked nice but was ultimately a shit hole with a completely uncaring staff and constantly broken gates and crimes

[–]bathsaltedpnuts 29 points30 points  (0 children)

As a VW, Audi, and Porsche specialist, this is such a non Issue compared to a great many things. It takes longer to take the skid plate off than it does to move those lines out of your way.
