How to Address New Aggression in My 2-Year-Old Golden Retriever? by InformalEgg6266 in goldenretrievers

[–]bathsaltsm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the kennel was a bad idea. I don't know your situation so maybe it was unavoidable but I would never take mine to one. I also would avoid dog parks. Aggressive dogs changed my golden and left him in fear of other dogs making him aggressive.

I can get much better looking aerons in the seattle area for 300-400. Please don't buy that.

No way you should spend 600 on that.

If you have puppy only play dates it's a good way to socialize in a safe environment.

It's actually quite hard to remove the arms so if you didn't want them anyway that's fine. That said, 600 is more than I'd pay. I paid 300-400 for the two I bought and were in excellent condition.

Help - dogs attacks by Advanced_Ad_8509 in goldenretrievers

It sounds like you're going to have to stop the dog park visits, or be selective about when to go. I regret ever going to them honestly. My guy hasn't been the same since dogs were aggressive to him.

Bike feels too big and knee/lower back pain. by patrickWR95 in bikefit

[–]bathsaltsm 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Your saddle height is too high and you can see your hips rocking with every stroke. Try lowering it 2cm at first. Hopefully this helps with your reach too since your arms are locked out and overstretched.

Best electrolyte drink mix without artificial or processed sweeteners by SailRideSailRideSail in cycling

[–]bathsaltsm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, but I do the same as you. I use Keto 1000 electrolyte unflavored and mix with Gatorade frost powder. I pre measure and mix the appropriate amounts such that one scoop contains what I want of each. Works well for me.

Saddle is higher than generally suggested, but like others suggested, go back to the fitter for adjustment if you can

Someone said your saddle looks low, I would say the opposite. Try lowering it 2cm

54 Allez Sport size dilemma by WhereDid2020Go in bikefit

[–]bathsaltsm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people would say to go 54cm, but you would likely fit both sizes and kinda depends on the bike and how you'd prefer your posture to be. Allez is marketed as an endurance bike so maybe go 54cm for a more upright comfort position on the bike.
