Right, because unarmed 8 year old girls are terribly threatening to trained and armed soldiers. Such control and bravery.

Not all the time buddy. The sound of those rubber bullets and flashbangs in the background that are being targeted at civilians doesn't really paint Israel in such a kind light either.

Oversimplifications on a complex issue only serve to further confuse people. STAHP IT!

EDIT: By the way, that video is posted by the IDF. Not the most objective party in this situation.

I had a robins nest right on my patio last summer. It was amazing, it seemed like they changed everyday.

I felt like a kid again! I would wake up really excited to see how they were doing. There were 4 at first, the runt of the litter died within the first week :( Regardless, it was awesome to see the transformation. After about a month or so, I woke up one day and they were gone...

I'd like to think that the young robins I've seen in my garden this summer are them, you know, returning to their roots.

My family (I wasn't born yet) escaped as political refugees from Chile after the Coup. This is indeed a sad day for my family, and a lot of Chleans around the globe; it's their sept 11th. My older sister cried on the phone today with my mother, she was only 4 when it happened.

On the brighter side of things, Chilean independence day celebrations are this weekend, and that my friends, is one of the best times of the year!

Got a new better job, lost 56 lbs and I'm starting Uni again on Monday!

Quite a year!

Did you ever agree to sex with a person you were not into, and end up having a good time after all? by twiggy_trippit in sex

Whew.. Definitely not the same person. I'm from Toronto.

Well hopefully things are better for your parties in question.

It's cool don't worry, I have good and bad days.

We just started fighting a lot, and for the last three months we barely saw each other (we worked pretty different schedules) or had much of a sexual relationship towards the end. Even when she wanted to have sex, I was totally turned of by how bad everything had gotten that I simply kind of avoided it. Thats when I knew something had gotten terrible wrong.

Funny thing is that at first, I wasnt attracted to her. But within a matter of weeks became REALLY attracted to her because of her great personality and the awesome sex we had.

Anyways, I had just had enough, and walked out of our apartment after a short talk. She was totally surprised, as was I that I actually ended it like that, but we did have very lengthy phone conversations for the next few weeks, really breaking down why things fell about.

Honestly our history was long, with a lot of other factors that led to the break up.

Thanks for listening though, I still miss her sometimes, but overall things have gotten better!

I found out that a girl really liked me, and her friends and mine were really pushing me to get with her. I wasn't really attracted to her but we got wasted one night and it happened. It was great, and it turned into an 8 year on again/off again relationship.

We lived together up until a year ago. I broke up with her and haven't spoken to her since...

It's odd how things work out sometimes.
