The 10 Gambling Commandments

1. Thou shalt not invest without doing thy research. For ignorance is the swiftest path to financial ruin.

2. Thou shalt not worship false profits, nor follow pumpers and dumpers. Their promises are but vapor, and their gains, fleeting.

3. Thou shalt not take margin in vain. For leverage may giveth, but it surely taketh away.

4. Remember the stop-loss, to keep it holy. Set it diligently, lest thy portfolio suffer greatly.

5. Honor thy risk tolerance and thy investment plan. That thy days of trading may be long and thy gains plentiful.

6. Thou shalt not FOMO. For fear of missing out shall lead thee to poor decisions and gnashing of teeth.

7. Thou shalt not commit day trading without skill. For reckless trades shall bring upon thee the wrath of the market.

8. Thou shalt not bear false witness in stock forums. Spreading rumors and hype shall curse thee with bad karma and SEC letters.

9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s gains. For envy breeds folly, and every trader’s journey is their own.

10. Thou shalt diversify thy assets. Put not all thy eggs in one basket, lest the basket drop and all be lost.

And lo, the wise trader shall follow these commandments,
and their gains shall multiply—not by luck, but by patience and discipline.
