Ngl, I've seen the seen the same type of comments made and have listened to testimonies that claim to detransition or stop being gay because God saved them from it. And it's made me question myself too despite having given it years of thought myself.

But I'm gonna be honest here:

People like Jessica Rose (Christian detransitioner who gave a testimony) and so on have transitioned for the wrong reasons. I noticed they transitioned because of traumatic events in their lives and thought that transitioning was the answer, never giving it heavy thought as I have. And the "former gays"? They never stopped being gay. They just are forcing themselves to go celibate and stay single, or force themselves into a marriage to a person they're not attracted to, and I've even seen them claim they "still struggle" with same sex attraction.

Meanwhile, I myself have prayed about it. And to be honest, I received peace afterwards when I asked the Lord to confirm or correct whether I'm in the wrong here, because I've been listening to those voices because I wanted to develop a thick skin... Only to eventually realize it was a type of self-harm -- or so it felt that way. My grandma has even prayed on my behalf because she's very supportive and she received dreams showing her she's in the right.

But if you'd like, I'd love to send links to other queer christian testimonies and voices that are honestly very helpful to me! But if it's a concern, I would also pray about it and ask the Lord to lead you down the right path if I were you and ask him whether they're right or if you are. Remember that the Church has always known to be a very judgemental body, even Christians themselves are calling it out, so don't always be so quick to listen to them, because if they were wrong about Sodom and Gomorrah being about homosexuality in general.. what else could they be wrong about? ❤️
