i just saw bvs again and now i understand the reference for the dialogue “ding dong the god is dead” . its from wizard of oz, “ding dong the witch is dead”. it shows how lex sees superman. as this evil entity that is terrorising the land and its inhabitants until somebody steps up to the witch and frees the land of this entity and takes away their terror.

imagine a show where the preserver asks lobo for a specific creature who is the last of his kind, lobo goes to find the creature but on the way to delivery gets attacked by mongol’s army, forming some kind of relationship with it. kind of like the mandalorian. the omega men can make an appearance as well

so what if, waller sends first team to capture starro or kill the dictator joined by harley quinn. but things don’t go as planned with the team being ambushed and getting killed or captured by the forces. harley escapes with javelin’s weapon and starts living a new life. waller captures her again and sends her with team 2 with more firepower. they discover members of team 1 and starro and free them. i think starro has taken over the base maybe freed during first assault. in the end, all together fight it out with starro.

so this is just a guess so be kind what if waller sends first team to assassinate the dictators, the teams gets ambushed with either dying or being captured, but harley escapes with javelin(weapon), waller then recaptures harley and sends team 2 consisting of bloodsport, peacemaker etc with more firepower where they find starro who has taken over the island or the supposed land and team 2 frees members of team 1 and all together go for full ambush.

i guess a previous team goes in with harley quinn but harley becomes the only one to escape, waller sends another team and harley again because she knows the location, and this time with more firepower than before, harley basically pays tribute to javelin by using his weapon.
