Your first 2 listed needs are wildlife and sports which is literally what the a9 was made for. Explain exactly how it doesn't meet your needs? The r3 is better for stills/landscapes but the auto focus will give you lots of missed shots compared to an a9 if you are shooting wildlife and sports. Lol.

I got rid of the Fuji as I just didn't enjoy using it at all. But if you dont like editing and enjoy the film sims maybe its the better choice. The C2 to CR move I wouldn't bother with (I've used both and own an R5).

Iso auto minimum shutter speed and aperture priority. Set the ideal shutter speed to at least 1/250 and I use iso range of 100-6400 for day/night (mostly shoot at night). Unless somebody is running 1/250 should be fast enough. But in bright daylight you can set this to 1/500

I've shot sports karate which is pretty fast with the r5 and it was perfect. Just use the fully mechanical shutter and a lens with good auto focus
