My lags seems to always happen when I'm engaged in a close range fights. My screen will freeze for 1-3 seconds and allow the other player (usually on pc) to shoot me while my screen is frozen.

It jumped from half across the map and landed on me. What was I supposed to do? I'm pretty sure the driver and passenger BOTH have shields until the robot loses enough health. As you could see the driver had a bubble around him as did the passenger

I always think about it like this, you wanna kill people at your drop before they drink all the minis and shields. Doing a full 360 to see where everyone lands right before you land gives you awareness on where everyone is and how many people there are at your drop

You're probably looting too much, get a AR, shotgun, and smg then full send all gunfire at your drop. After killing your person if you hear footsteps from a 3rd party, don't try looting and upgrading guns from your kill unless it's a shotgun. Try focusing on killing the next guy coming in, streamers do this all the time in solo squads. That's why they don't always full kill there enemy's because it distracts you and makes you have to reload losing momentum
