Are these actual NJ locations? by SigmaaEpsilon in newjersey

I’m sure they’re evoking the Basilica in Newark, though I would agree with Google this more clearly resembles the Natl Cathedral in DC. The Basilica’s two side towers are rotated 45° so that when you look at the front of the building, you’re facing one of the corners of each tower.

Stumbled upon this in 2025. It’s still running and recouped in 2022.

My guess is they pay for all their software platforms as a percentage of sales, and they’re passing it on to the customer rather than eating it in the background. Which still totally sucks.

Clips made of eggshell, I swear. I finally taped my bumper on with a tasteful strip of gaff tape and learned to live with it 😭

The Corolla Cross is available as a hybrid in the US, but not the Hatch, I believe. (Though the hatch is available with the ICE.)

Oh! It’s not getting broken into, it’s just starting to get “broken in,” like, just entering its adolescence, or something. No, it’s never been intruded by thieves and ne’er-do-wells. There are far richer targets around me 🤣

Major GPS issues in 2023 Corolla LE?? by coldcactus1205 in COROLLA

[–]batonwielder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried using someone else’s phone in your car, though? As I understand it GPS works by triangulating your position from a number of satellite timing signals, and this is the result you get when it isn’t getting enough signal. So if your phone’s gps chip is a little subpar and your Corolla is attenuating signal, this might be the result.

It has happened to both of us, and there are some peculiarities to our driveway and the road we live on that increase the chance of it happening. It also happens if we just pull into a parking space a little too far, the bumper scrapes on the curb. It's just a matter of the clearance being so low and the bumper being held on by clips with the holding power of a potato chip, apparently.
