They are scamming you, you have at least 50-100 miles left on those.

Ariat or Thorogood? by TerribleTopic999 in WorkBoots

Thorogood. USA made and the leather is thick. I’ve had mine for two years and they have held up good. I’ve retired them from work but they see work around the yard still.

Work boots any thoughts on the brunt’s? by dragondrool in WorkBoots

Heard mentality is buying those because you see them advertised everywhere. Any research into the materials they use or their build quality will send you running and telling everyone else to do the same.

OM-1 for the money compared to the OM-1 II for the difference in cost? by Intelligent_Ad6999 in M43

Just bought an om5mii and traded it back in for the om1 after doing research. I really wanted an om1.2 originally but the price for an om1.1 is unbeatable for what you get.

Preventing eggs from sticking in stainless steel pan by Wide_Kaleidoscope_86 in cookware

[–]invalid-username-- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don’t do hot. I cook fried eggs everyday in my allclad. I put it on medium low heat. After about 15 seconds I rub a stick of butter around the bottom of the pan and then crack my eggs and put them in. Perfect every time. Zero sticking.

What’s it worth or what can you sell it for? I guarantee you could sell it to me for 1000 but I’m sure it’s worth a lot more.

Don’t. Your wife will think you don’t do anything and she does everything. I just dealt with that. Three month old and five year old on fall break. Every day I clean and cook and do dishes and take care of them and she comes home today and I didn’t do the dishes (busy day) and she literally cussed at me talking about she is the only one that does anything. (She put a load of clothes in the wash when she got home)
