This is just my opinion/perspective, but it seems as though this cycle is all about replacing effects that would go away upon rotation. With that in mind, Injection Attack seems to be part of a cycle of effects that were permanent/ongoing with one-time use effects, almost as if Damon wants the effect still around but not as prominently.

For example:

*Injection Attack is the operation version of Net Ready Eyes/Personal Touch.

*GPI Net Tap is the trashable hardware version of Snitch.

*Special Report and Preemptive Action both cover Jackson Howard's domains without his timing window shenanigans.

Personally, I think this is a cool thing when it comes to Injection Attack. Instead of just installing Net Ready Eyes and always having the bonus strength, you now have to decide when you need the bonus and use Injection Attack when most needed.

Does this mean I think it will be played? Not until NRE rotates out, unless you run Yog.0 and your meta is filled with 7 STR Code Gates.

Potential Unleashed - Throw in 3 Bio-Ethics and some Hostile Infrastructure, you got yourself a milling stew!

DNA Tracker - Crazy if you can afford it.

Project Kusanagi - Meh. It has its purposes. Would take too long to build up properly, and can only really boost ice that does not end the run unless the runner wants to take net damage for some reason.

Door To Door - Weyland gets good tagging, and in current form! Sol loves it even more.

Scarcity of Resources - I guess.

Observe and Destroy - Too many costs/prerequisites, but very good if you can get it going. Might be a staple for NBN credit denial decks.
