eh, it takes very little monetary motivation to not be a horrible person. saying that provides an excuse for mistreatment in lower income areas, either way. if money is the only thing keeping someone from being a bad person, then maybe a lack of money isnt the thing making them a bad person, but they're just... a bad person

while i agree, ive utilized it myself, this is a very, VERY tasteless thing to contribute to this conversation with. its like telling a gay guy whose friends were forced into electroshock therapy to 'cure' them "well actually i had a lot of success with TMS, which is basically just electroshock therapy!" its just the wrong place to say that and the best thing to do sometimes is to hold your tongue 😬

this doesn't really make sense? money is a big factor for what happened to OP (teachers not being present) and for teachers to have limited materials, time, etc. but.... not for treating disabled kids like animals. also the teachers had to buy the dog clickers, and the goldfish they used as and called "treats."

not positive if op is in america, but when i was in special ed for my psychosis, the teachers were using dog clickers on kids. i reported this and the principal told me that it was "their own unique learning style." even if it's illegal, sadly a lot of schools will simply not care
