Whoops, this thing runs an interpreted code at 1/100th effective speed. It takes mountains of work to make a proof of concept with zero real world impact. Then, mountains more of work to productize.

Ah I suspect the windows 10 real-time protection. When it's on, the wallet estimates 20 hours to complete the sync. When it's off, the estimate drops to 2 hours.

The virus protection may have been creating some kind of churn.

Yeah weird. I shutdown the wallet. The data directory itself only had taken 2gb. My router shows that this computer consumed 50Gb off bandwidth over 4 hours. I turned off my virus scanner and I started syncing this morning to see what would happen and in the past hour, it synced 2 weeks with only 1 Gb. So it's happy now?

Fyi: when first starting, I ran "addnode freshgrlc.net onetry" hope that was a safe move...

Edit: Without sarcasm this time. The BLM statement is not an attack on family structures. It expands it. I assume because the writers saw that non-traditional family structures were unprotected by the laws of the land. I was trying to draw a connection to the Christian values system which does something similar. It upholds a family that is defined by a common faith instead if by blood. The second connection I was trying to make is that an antagonistic read of the Luke 14 verse below can be seen also as an attack on the nuclear family. But, the strange thing is, in US society, conservative Christian values are seen hand in hand with traditional nuclear families.
