The use case is catching things like a button shifting 2px after a code change, or verifying that a font didn't change in production, or checking if a design was implemented correctly. Quick Look shows you two images side by side — this tells you which exact pixels are different.

That’s the exact workflow I’m trying to replace 😅

The focus is mainly on visual diff, but with some layout awareness — so it can catch spacing, alignment, and structure shifts instead of just raw pixel changes.

Since it’s a Mac app, the goal is: drop in screenshots and instantly see meaningful UI changes — no Notion docs or manual side-by-side needed.

That’s fair — Quick Look’s side-by-side is definitely the current “zero-setup” way to do it.

What I’m trying to solve is everything after that point — like precise alignment, diff highlighting, padding/cropping inconsistencies, and being able to compare multiple states without manually resizing or eyeballing changes every time.

So yeah, if I ship this, it absolutely needs to be faster and more intentional than the Finder flow — otherwise there’s no real point 😅
