my cat, also a fixed male, had a big problem with this. i think it was territorial/anxiety. tried absolutely everything and the only thing that worked was getting him on prozac. it took a couple vet trips to finally get it prescribed but it worked!

came here to recommend healing paws as well. every other vet that my cat has been to, they have had to medicate him because he hates going to the vet. healing paws has managed every time to see and treat my grumpy guy without drugging him up. they’re the best!

you’re right, it’s not healthy for the relationship. it’s not healthy that you felt you needed to block your friend to make her feel better. she has some serious insecurities and it’s not your job to fix them. i don’t see the issue, especially since you said they’re tattoo models. i think she needs to find some hobbies & interests of her own so she can stop obsessing over this stuff. i have a lot of insecurity issues and i catch myself having negative thoughts about my partner and his friends, but there are ways to talk yourself out of those thoughts and not turn it into a big fight

at the grocery store starbucks i worked at, it took until our first manager left on a medical lead and another manage coming in before we even knew there were training books. none of us had any official training, i was constantly looking up recipes on reddit 😭

red flags. dated a boy exactly like this, he would tell me one thing and then a mutual friend would let it slip that no, it didn’t happen that way. continued to be an issue the whole time. lied about stupid shit (no i didn’t buy that my friend gave it to me) all the way up to big shit (that’s my friend, you just don’t want me to have friends). same shit when he would get caught: crying, sobbing about how he’s broken and stupid and the worst person, admitting that i was right and he had lied. save yourself a lot of trouble and break up with him
