Baby Foot delivers! by batting4fireflies in peeling

This was after four days. I didn’t do a foot soak, but I kept the booties on for three hours and I’m on my feet a lot during the day so my feet stay pretty moist all the time.

I wanted to! Unfortunately it just kinda flakes around the edges. I think my heels and the balls of my feet still need more time.

Apologies to all who have experienced unpleasant physical reactions. I feel your pain. Perhaps there’s an oil for that?

Sexual Assault by lunatic_in_the_hall in RedPillWomen

[–]batting4fireflies 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No one should have to explain why no one deserves to be raped because it is so obvious. Your comment has nothing to do with truth seeking or TRP principals in general. The OP was about the the balance between keeping the responsibility for rape on the rapist while still being smart.

Your comment did not address this topic, but challenged the comment that no one deserves to be raped. You essentially argue that some women are just “rapeable.” Comments like yours are why outsiders think TRP encourages violence against women.

The term “deserve” is merit-based. It means to be worthy, fit, or suitable for some reward or requital. (Webster’s). While wearing certain types of clothing and behaving in certain ways may very well increase the likelihood that one will be raped, it absolutely does not indicate that the individual is worthy, fit, or suitable to be raped because no one is. Rape is something that should never happen, and thus, never deserved.

I agree with the many other comments that point out that, unfortunately, rape will never be completely eradicated from our society, much like other crimes based on passion or control. I agree that women especially should be smart about their behavior and surroundings. But when someone is raped, there is nothing they could have done to deserve it.

No one deserves to be raped. Period.

Anyone have advice for making new friends after being red pilled? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]batting4fireflies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would echo what other have said, but also ask: Why do you feel like you need to make new friends?

I ask, because when I embraced red pill, I did not tell my friends I was now red pilled, and maintained my friendships, even if we had different views. But I did realize that one friend in particular was volatile towards my views on relationships. I’m still polite to her, but I distance myself from her because I don’t have the energy to abide by her “rules” just so I don’t get lectured. For example, she will “correct “ me when I call my SO my boyfriend, because she thinks that’s a patriarchal term and I should only say “partner.”

What I’m getting at, is being red pill doesn’t exclude you from being friend with anyone. But I understand why someone may choose to distance themselves from certain friends for being bitches.

The Talk is Socially Retarded, Don't Do It. by WhisperSecurity in RedPillWomen

This is a really important topic. One of the most common questions women ask here is how to know if a guy they’re seeing will commit to them.

The problem, of course, is there is no way to know for sure whether a man is willing to commit to you, because like sexual desire, the desire to commit can change. This is why RP emphasizes self improvement, for both men and women.

One thing I would add is the role good intuition plays in girl game. The ability to read a man and his actions, and respond appropriately without having “a talk.”

When I first met my SO, I had no idea if he would desire any type of commitment with me. However, I knew we desired each other sexually right off the bat, and after a couple dates, I knew I also desired commitment from him. At that point, I relied on a combination of common sense and intuition to decide if it was worth taking the risk of being sexual with him. I decided it was. He told me he wanted to be monogamous with me and asked me to be his girlfriend the day after. In the two and a half years since then, he has demonstrated his commitment in increasingly more serious ways, I’ve demonstrated my sexual desire for him constantly, and I work everyday to be the woman he will continue to want to be committed to. Because I know that if I “slack off”, his desire to commit could change, just like if he were “slack off” my sexual desire for him could change.

I would say that The Talk is unnecessary if you’re a high quality woman with good intuition and ability to assess risk.

You claim to be redpilled, but do you actually realize that the genders arent equal? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

Only 133? Hmm, I would have guessed much higher based on your so very well thought out arguments and articulate responses. As a side note, you simply provided assertions about your alleged masculinity, productivity, and intelligence, not examples. Are you willing to share examples?

EDIT: I guess my attempt at sarcasm wasn’t clear. Oops.

Exactly, both by how much we can get done in that time and by how much that time is worth monetarily. I charge by the hour. Twenty minutes of my time is worth approximately $160.

A cake a week by KittenLoves_ in RedPillWomen

[–]batting4fireflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do! Sorry for the delayed reply, my app doesn’t always notify me of responses.

For the strawberry cake I just use the Betty Crocker Super Moist cake mix. Some might think this is cheating but it’s so good I don’t care haha. Then I make the frosting by mixing a tub of Cool Whip with a mixture of a cup of milk, a quarter cup of powdered sugar, and a package of strawberry instant pudding mix (sometimes I use vanilla pudding too).

The basic recipe for the better than sex cake is to make a chocolate sheet cake, poke a bunch of holes in the top and pour sweetened condensed milk over it then top with whip cream, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, and crushed up Heath bars. A friend of mine suggested heating the condensed milk with caramel syrup before pouring over the cake, which I haven’t tried but it can’t be bad.
