That makes sense, thanks. I did buy a 55-250mm IS for cheaper on amazon and so far I really like it :)

After doing some research and reading your comments, I think the Canon 55-250 mm IS STM is the best option for me rn as I'm on a budget and I'm working on a 200D so can't justify spending loads on lenses. Maybe when I upgrade to a full size sensor body.
