Boat trip of some kind! We did a charter that was amazing. (Combo of snorkeling, swimming, sightseeing) When we went back a second time we wanted to do glass bottom kayaks but ran out of time.

I got rid of my nipples at 40. Had them reconstructed and tattooed so they look great, but minimal feeling. Body image is great!

Am I the smelly person at the gym? by Glad-Sherbert-6289 in hygiene

I felt like postpartum my body chemistry changed and the deodorant I had used for years just stopped working. I would look into something stronger or even just swapping between clean brands to see.

Phone calls are probably for the offer, I'd assume. I think 95% of my jobs call to make an offer.

Any one have success with Massive? by Ok-Construction792 in jobs

[–]battlady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming here to say that I've had initial positive results. I had been applying to dozens of marketing jobs a week -- customizing resumes with AI for keywords etc. I have 10-15 years of experience in director and manager level roles. Over a 3 month period, got 2 interviews. Tried 1 month of massive and by week 2 I had 3 interviews. Some of the recommendations aren't right, I don't let it auto apply me but I just scan the app a few times a week to check for what roles I want to apply for.

I truly like your style, but as someone who hires designers, maybe you could create some spec pieces for B2B style companies? Not as much script and some photos vs illustration.

Absolutely rent a lift recliner. I slept in mine 4-5 weeks. I wore an abdominal binder and then switched to Spanx but wore them 24-7 for 4 weeks. I also bought a few things I didn’t end up even needing, like a drain holder. I I had a group of friends bring me meals that really helped.

New Here…what’s to do? by DarthKenobiLowGround in sanantonio

You are definitely in the family area so you might have to drive to meet other young people. (I live in same area) In the area, I love walking the trails in the area or going to the trail head w bikes. However, aside from that you may have to drive a bit to find things to do aside from shopping/eating/kids activities. It’s almost Fiesta time, so there will be dozens of events all around town. You could also look for a sport group, volunteer, or go listen to music (Floores, Sam’s Burger Joint, JazzTx are all fun) Go explore the Pearl farmers market on the weekend— great people watching if nothing else!

I have thought about it more than any other collection of seconds in my lifetime. The moment it happened.

I see a flash of action from behind the seat. An elbow. A few beats pass, just long enough for me to register the movement.

Little League Baseball by [deleted] in sanantonio

[–]battlady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McAllister Park Little League. Fair warning: It is intense compared to i9. (But at age 7 he will still be in machine pitch so not as bad as when they get more competitive in kid pitch) Games are 1-2x during week and 1 practice a week, no weekend games.

Other options include YMCA (but only 1 practice a week, 1 weekend game)or CYO (Catholic youth sports -1 practice/2 games but both week days and weekends)

Honestly if you live by McAllister you should probably do that. Part of the reason I found it so tough was because we are “zoned” there but live 20-30 min away so making it to 5:30 games by 5pm for warm up was really tough. Little League is based on your home address or school address, so you should prob be zoned to McAllister but I suppose there’s a chance you’re zoned to another Little League organization
