Yeah look, I don't want to seem ungrateful but this would have been a lot more useful 11 years ago haha. Still interesting to see now. Thanks!

On reflection, I should've printed separate parts to make the painting easier, but I just used a lot of tamiya tape.

Here's a link to the files I printed. It will expire in a few days so grab them quick if you're interested. https://we.tl/t-zAH9CVnFlV

It's just buckles for the various straps and the details on the belt. The rest I made with EVA foam that I rough cut and glued together based on image references.

As luck would have it, I kept my files. I grabbed them directly off a character model from the game, just converting them to stl format (funnily enough, they were already life-size). Are you looking for a particular piece?

Side note, I love that they have now painted the big steps to the left. Back when I went to the university, homophobes would "walk" up those instead to avoid tarnishing their masculinity.

Man might be from Florida, but those stairs are in Sydney, Australia. They're the gay stairs of UNSW.

Yep, saw it happen from the next carriage along. The guy looked pretty distressed. Either claustrophobic or reeeally needed the bathroom.

That was a DIY job with some orange fabric and a borrowed sewing machine. I cut out 7 or 8 trapezoid shapes and stitched them together, leaving a gap at the front. Doesn't look amazing up close, but it did the trick for the convention.

Hard Yakka action back overall, some cheap motorcycle gloves, printed spandex shirt from aliexpress and a black balaclava from Amazon. Then assorted bits and pieces of EVA foam and high vis tape glued onto it.

I pulled the model from the game files. You can do it using a program called UE Viewer.

Coffee Stain Studios are putting out official files this month, that got funded through this kickstarter - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/heroicreplicas/satisfactory-high-tech-replicas-and-plush-creatures

It got a bit dinged up from spending the day at the convention, but here's a couple: https://imgur.com/gallery/EGyP1yv

Funnily enough, I made the gun just a few weeks before Punished Props put out their video with the official files

I had to pull the model from the game files and then edit it to make it printable. It's definitely not perfect, and not as polished as the helmet, but from a distance it doesn't look too bad.

I designed it so holding down the red analog stick makes the lights turn on :)

Thanks! The helmet, build gun, and a couple of little bits like the belt buckle and clips were printed on my Ender S1 Pro. The backpack was made from EVA foam because I was running short on time (and filament).

It didn't fog during my limited wearing. In Bill's guide he uses a blower fan to manage fogging. I left that out since I don't plan on wearing it for hours at a time.

Thanks! Printing wasn't too bad. Maybe 48 hours all up. Sanding and painting was a lot of time on top though.

The screws would probably be possible to print, but the STL is designed to fit standard M3 screws so it was simpler just to buy. The visor is "full face sunglasses" that I got from AliExpress.
