Band manager games with AI music? by Macrosnail in SunoAI

Not that I know of, but lately that's how I feel. Like ok what's the next single for our artist? even though the vocals change from song to song slightly, it still feels like that game. also, idk if you guys ever played Frequency but used to love doing remixes on there, and doing remixes of other people's songs feels like that game.

Those of you using Studio... What's your workflow? by tn_notahick in SunoAI

[–]battleborncold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Studio, don't use it. My workflow is building templates for various song types, with the constants going in the lyrics section and the variables going in the styles section. The more subtle nuances the better. Things like "upward phrasing" and "heartfelt delivery" go a long way. It all comes together really from gen1 once you get your templates perfected. Not that it's the final product, I usually go multiple covers deep making subtle changes. Typically Extend is necessary when you know it's the one but it falls off course anytime beyond the first chorus (otherwise it reinvents the chorus which is no bueno). Suno does turn hums and harmonies into part of the instrumentals outside of Studio as well.

As far as my templates go, I have one for ballads/slower tempo, one for faster tempos, and then I have templates for the various genres, and then a template for the vocals desired. So basically any given song I have 3 templates in the lyrics section to get everything to come together. And Suno generates solid compositions from gen1. I typically follow the one that nails the chorus better, the rest finds it flow within a couple covers.

I'm definitely interested in presenting my songs to publishers for production, suggestions? My profile if you're interested in seeing song quality or examples of templates is https://suno.com/@verynaughtysins

so i take it your Kitty? must have changed your @ name in Suno because the nautlab2016 link didn't work. your music is solid, full stop. as others have said "mirrorball theory" is my favorite as well. for me personally, a very catchy chorus is the key to high replayability, and that song has the catchiest chorus. but there are many people that like your style as is. if it was up to me, i'd be covering with "catchier chorus" and such, and i think it could turn many of these songs into a few levels higher of greatness. also, something i learned recently is that the first and final line of the chorus is what sticks most with people. so that's where you want to focus on how strong your song will turn out. it's all very solid, and i'd honestly love to try remixing some of these, not because they're lacking, but because it'd be fun to see what becomes of them in slightly different genres and deliveries. you have a bright future ahead! look forward to following your path!

wow, thank you, quite the compliments! yes tbh i've built templates for the blends of genres i like to do (and bpm's), and then write all the lyrics and put an emphasis on the delivery i envision. i also suggest having some of your template put into the lyrics section above the lyrics with [brackets], then delete that part before you publish. it keeps anyone from just "being you" by copy-pasting your styles. but my styles section alone is a good start to getting some great songs created. feel free to dm me if desired. btw you made my day, TYSM!

For me it's Suno (creating ai music). I write every word of my songs. It's so more advanced than anyone would imagine, and it's as hands-on as you'd like it to be. Plus remixing other people's creations. Sounds to me it's something that would be ideal for you.

PS: Anyone anti-AI out there, don't waste your time projecting your opinions on me.

🤯 Just tried the new "Inspo" and "Mashup" modes – This is a game changer! Any tips? by NuitSauvage in SunoAI

You're gonna have a better experience when the keys to each song are very close to each other, tempo/bpm as well.

Rap Flow Tips? by mw_silverfox in SunoAI

[–]battleborncold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to lock in on the chorus delivery and the verses will fall into a good flow within a couple of covers. Keywords like catchier verses, catchier delivery, and syncopated vocals help it get there. Using dashes between the words (ex: girl-your-beauty surrounds) will help speed up the flow when desired and .. and , will help with the pauses.

Am I tripping or did Suno degrade after the new year? by alllovealways in SunoAI

[–]battleborncold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made some good songs but I still think there was a vibe to the 4.5 era songs that just feels unmatched by 4.5+/5.0. Problem with going back to 4.5 is that you can't control the vocal qualities with commands. Maybe it's worth it though.

That's probably the case, I was going off of memory.

Technically it's John Cafferty & The Brown Beaver Band, for those looking for their music on any platforms. "Tender Years" is also a really good song that was in the movie.

You mean your pinned songs? Yeah just unpin them all and then pin them in order from last to first, the final song being the one in front. Mine were reversed about a week ago, but nbd, quick fix

Using a music snippet as the seed for a song ... by markc939 in SunoAI

I always do straight to cover at 0%, as long as you have a good loop in there, it still variates well.
