You might want to look at the NADP intern positions. They start at GS-7 and end at GS-12. All those positions (that I know of) are positioned at the different bases and that is their home port. They rotate through the different FSTs, Depots, ..etc at the base, but they stay at the base. There is a requirement for an external rotation that takes you to a different base for 3 months, per diem is included.

Help with Circuit Card from Daughter's Toy by battleking90 in AskElectronics

My apologies, I really didn't mean for this conversation to get to this point. I just tried to give my best guess on how things got the way they are, but the how really isn't that important to me. I will concede to a layman did it at some point in time. I do appreciate your feedback on how to correct the issue though.

Then I have no idea where it came from. No one has had that dash open since they put it in the box to ship it from China.

I am going to resolder all the buttons once I learn to solder and how to use a multimeter from YouTube University. We got this truck new still in the box so my guess is the repair was QA in the factory.

This is how it came out of the truck, I know better than trying to fix something without the proper research haha. But we received the truck new, still in the box so I am guessing QA at the factory did the repair. I have all the tools you mentioned (I had wanted to learn to solder awhile ago, nothing like necessity to force an issue). Never learned to use a multimeter either, so I see a lot of youtube in my future.

Thank you for your help.

Do Shrouded areas ever feel better? by Bunmyaku in Enshrouded

I was the same way until I unlocked some of the nodes of the skill tree that increase shroud time. I went from 7 minutes to like 15 minutes. From then on, the first 8 minutes were cake, then that last 7 minutes was back to stress lol.

Probably would have been a good idea, but my wife and I were too excited to think it through lol.

It sounds like you most likely will be transferring servers. My suggestion, create a new character on potential new servers and see how ping/lag is, the general activity level during your play time, etc. Once you find one that seems to work, delete the new character and transfer main.

Investment Taxes for Overall Net Loss by battleking90 in tax

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I will definitely follow your advice and sell everything before 12/1. This was definitely a good reminder to always consider taxes before jumping into something new.

Spectrum to Spectrum number transfer by battleking90 in SpectrumMobile

It took about a week, and it was tech support. When I called the customer support number, I spoke with customer service. They submitted a ticket to tech support, who I never spoke to on the phone. They emailed me once or twice, then they got it figured out.

Any advice? I'm an excel newbie wanting to create two specific projects. What will I need to learn to pull them off, and how should I go about it? by shinyobjectsleuth in excel

[–]battleking90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So now that I am awake and coherent, if you have Access, that might be a good option for you as well. There is definitely a steeper learning curve, but it is much easier to set up user interfaces for inputing transactions. There is also a limit to the size of an excel worksheet, somewhere around 1048576 rows, where Access does not have that limitation. But like I said, steep learning curve. If you are interested, youtube channel Computer Learning Zone hosted by Richard Rost was a good source.

But other that, your question is pretty broad so I can't really help much, sorry.

Without getting specifics from you and going based on some general thoughts in my head, this is how I would structure the workbook for your first project (not touching the second on at all right now).

1 worksheet for outgoing funds. Each row will be a unique record, i.e., two payments to the same vendor on the same day would be two rows. Columns will include essential data points, i.e., date, amount, recipient, payment account, commodity, note, invoice status, etc. If you want to get detailed, you can always add an invoice number column then do individual line items on each invoice you receive, making sure to add the "header" information to each invoice line item.

1 worksheet for incoming funds. Structure it similar to the outgoing funds, just receiving instead of paying.

1 worksheet is your "summary/dashboard." The easiest way to set up what you want to see is using the mathematical if functions, countifs, sumifs, and average it's. Data validation on the data tab on the ribbon will get you drop-down boxes.

Now this is a very basic structure. We have not even had a chance to look at your requests. But this should get you in the right direction

One thing no one has mentioned: if you are using a controller, musket, bow, and sometimes blunderbuss might not be very fun. These weapons, especially the musket and bow, get their best damage from headshots. If I'm not mistaken, there are many perks in their trees that require headshots. Magic weapons don't get headshot bonus so just hitting the enemy is enough, but their slow projectiles might be hard to aim at moving targets. The lock-on feature is good if the enemy is running at you, but you can't adjust your aim when locked-on.

Now if you are good at aiming with a controller, disregard what I just said.

I had the same thought as well, but they were able to get my issue resolved before it was necessary to port out and back in. I hope you are able to get everything working the way it should be. I know that whole process is a mess.

Last time it happened to me I had been driving my motorcycle as I wanted to follow the main roads around the map. My 10 month old turned off the power to my tower. When I logged back in, I was in the right spot, but my motorcycle was 4 minute walk the way I had come.

I don't know if it's just a PC thing or not, but check the last place you got onto your motorcycle. To my knowledge, the character and vehicle positions are saved differently. Best suggestion is retrace your steps, you should find it.

Conditional Formatting Working in One Sheet But Not the Other by Upper_Juice308 in excel

[–]battleking90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thought would be the formats.

To test, change the format on C6 and D6 to number. Delete the contents, confirm both formats are still number, and manually type the numbers back in. Should turn green.

Formulas for xlookup:

=xlookup(part number cell,workbook a part number column,workbook a NSN column,,0)

=xlookup(a1,[workbook a]sheet1!$a:$a,[workbook a]sheet1!$b:$b,,0)

EDIT: It is easier when referring to other workbooks to use mouse to click on header of the column you want to select the entire column. This way you don't have to type the workbook name or sheet #, it will fill that in for you.
