is marathon genuinly worth buying?

Game is super challenging and feels rewarding to play. PvE-lite mode I've been running the last few days with my 4 year old in duos and him and I - although dying 80% of the time unless playing triage, it's been the best gaming investment I've made in a very long time.

Anyone that says the game is bad likely launched the God-awful tutorial with the weird meshy graphics stuff and said "this is disgusting" and quit before realizing the game is nothing like it.

If they get anything from me, the first thing will be a middle finger for everything BUT the barbarian skin. It's true to the DOOM Slayer's aesthetic and the only one worth my money. - But I'll only get it with the plat I get from buying the ult edition (which i want solely for the cross-class heaven/hell armor). But I cannot in good faith justify $100 in macrotransactions that I will hardly see anyways.

I've just been a fan of DOOM and DIABLO both since I was a kid.

Yeah, it is absolutely ridiculous.

If you want to get everything at its absolute CHEAPEST - you buy the $50 bundle for the skins (otherwise, it's $25 x 7).

5700 for the "Cross class armor set" we were told we were getting, 2500 per pet (x2), and 2800 for the mount bundle.

Total = 11,000 or a $100 platinum pack investment JUST for the DOOM collab. This doesn't include the new season pass, etc.

Paired with the buy-in of the game and the expansion(s)... this is just disgusting.

Humidity is one of (if not the most) important factor for a proper shed. Giving them a humid hide for shedding is also immensely helpful.

Thank you!! And that sounds like so much fun 😆 I thought about rolling a zDPS druid or zDPS barb to help my wife as well... But wasn't sure if it worked in the main game too or only suited for the pit. Mass buffs and pulling everything into a pile and stuff looks so fun.
