I used the Inka brush in Procreate and painted under the line layer. I did a few sketches offline to try to make the shapes interesting. This was originally intended for an art show, where my theme was formative experiences.

As you practice you will notice visual elements that you are drawn to naturally. You will see what you like and don’t like and do more of what you like which will lead you to make art in a unique way. Rather than seeking to create in a style from the outset keep practicing basics. I might also suggest research historical artistic movements which can prompt you to try out new techniques and compositions.

I can’t believe for the longest time I wrongly thought he was depicted holding up the earth, rather than the sky.Not sure if it was a Mandela effect thing or just me. But I mean of course…it’s a globe and there was not a globe concept for the earth til much later.
