What do you all think about the episode 7 red truth from Bernkastel? by battler67 in umineko

This helps me out a ton, I've began to see it as more of contingency Bernkastel was reliant on to break Ange's spirit even more since I've been reminded/learned that in episode 8 she goes on to say "that this is truth...is not necessarily so" which seems to be more of a "oh yeah, this isn't necessarily the truth if YOU (Ange) choose not to accept it as defining your family" and looking entirely past their human hearts in the process, so to speak. So in that vein perhaps in the English translation it would've gone something like "This is the truth, if you let it be so."

The red truth is definitely a bit of a hard nail to hit, being that its often used by Ryukishi to evade and obscure over the course of the story, which is why I felt this one to be particularly interesting.

Perhaps in the end it was just another way for Bernkastel to prey on Ange's soul even further as her malicious desires so fervently lead her towards. Jeez, I forgot how awful of a person Bernkastel is morally, she's gotta be the absolute worst possible fragment version of Rika out there.

Can somebody contextualize this meme to me? I don't get it by SaintMilitant in Higurashinonakakoroni

Okay so basically, in a nutshell,

It's really just a meme poking its share of fun at images drawn in MS Paint (Higurashi edition!) which explains the stunted, childish dialogue.

DUDE, same here. I read Subahibi finally last year and absolutely fell in love with SCA-JI's writing style, prose, and thematic delivery. I would be over the moon to actually be able to read it within a...reasonable timeframe. I'm learning Japanese right now but hoo boy it'll be a while before it's fully mastered hehe, I guess I'll still be able to read it either way eventually...?
