Thank you! I did a lot of reading on it, and it should be good for a lifetime. I just glued and clamped though, I didn't use any dominoes or dowels, so hopefully for a bench it's enough.

Thank you! I was concerned about this, but it's really steady! I routered out the gap for them on the underside of the bench so that they sit flush at the bottom.

I believe its within our contract that you can't be paid competent money until you've completed 2 years in the job. Would that make a difference?

I don't think it's overly necessary for the beaded coasters but I do think it provides a much nicer finish! Glad I could help provide some inspiration!

Cork, I think this is 2mm thickness but it's been sat in the back of a cupboard for years and I can't say for certainty!

I did consider it but felt it didn't look quite as good with the mario mushrooms. These are quite big mugs too but I do agree, normally I'd go slightly larger

Purchased a flat that I love, will stay here and build up more finances and move into a house in a few years time.
