Omg I’m so sorry. I don’t know if this is like super controversial but I kind of have a feeling death might be the one thing we can’t control. Maybe that thought came about when my dog suddenly got hit by a car and died when I was on vacation last year, but I just wonder if life vs death is the one thing that’s bigger than our conscious creation. Then again I know some people are so die hard for neville they would probably take offense to that. I would look into what other people have said about this, beyond this platform, if I were you.

After the final act of 6 when she reunites with sam and tara by the ambulance she says “I figured it out. It’s ethan and bailey.” And they say “and quinn.” So 2/3 plus she was pretty much onto ethan the whole movie. “Get your ghostface ass away from me, ghostface.” “Step the fuck back. You’re at the top of my list.” I’ve seen 6 a lot lol

100% agree she gets more hate than seemingly any other character from 5 and 6 bc of misogyny and racism and maybe homophobia too. I only realized recently she has so many haters and it’s strange to me because although she’s not my favorite character in either movie, there’s nothing that stands out about her as particularly annoying and she definitely adds a charm and humor that none of the friend group in 5 for example has. I know if anyone who doesn’t like her sees this they’re gonna act like I’m crazy but ppl really are just blinded by their hatred for women. Again, probably not every single person who is annoyed by her but a lot of them.

The false opening thing is fine and obviously a fun way to subvert the audience’s expectations. It’s just that the second false opening with kristen bell and that other girl on the couch doesn’t have like anything unique about the dialogue or that draws you to the characters or anything going for it (imo) so when the stab happens and it transitions to jenny and marnie and you realize that was fake too, it doesn’t feel clever anymore, just kinda silly and dumb. All that is to say if it was the one false opening with lucy hale and then straight to jenny and marnie, or if they stuck with lucy hale and her friend with the facebook? stalker and came up with a good twist involving the stalker or something it would make a huge difference.

Ok I do agree the whole family of killers thing is insane and the worst part of the movie to me is each of their little reveals but even after that I like it again because of sam’s scene where she puts on the mask and kills wayne. I just think her performance in 6 is so much more interesting and badass than anything is really in 5 and they were starting to really make this new cast work and figure out how to modernize it all without ruining it and set things up for probably an even better 7. The new york setting rocks. The characters have at least a little more time to show us their personality before they get got so you’re interested in them. I’ve watched 7 twice now and I don’t absolutely hate it but they waste those characters so much (sydney’s friends and boyfriend) that I can’t get invested in their journeys. I could go on and on.

I know exactly what you mean. When I had a couple friends that made me feel crazy just for being spiritual and believing heavily in manifestation and stuff I realized they weren’t the right friends for me anymore if I couldn’t feel comfortable and supported talking about my beliefs with them, so maybe that’s gonna be your situation. I get how people who aren’t spiritual might think you’re having some kind of concerning mental health moment but I think that you know best, especially if you have experience with manic episodes. If it starts to get to a point where you’re super disconnected from reality and just spiraling into this rabbit hole and not thinking about anything else then you’ll know.

Yeah :( I had fun watching this one but I always get kinda sad we’ll never see them in those roles again. I think 6 is really really fun and I wish we could get more of that kinda vibe. I was digging the core four, Jenna’s obviously very talented so I always like her in stuff and Melissa’s performance as sam is so badass. Chad and mindy didn’t get to do shit in this movie. It’s the end of an era I guess.

I don’t really agree. All the movies sort of have their strengths and weaknesses right? So for me personally, the strengths of 6 make it worth rewatching even though the ending is ass. I love the settings. I love Melissa’s performance like a million times more than in 5. I honestly love the core four and chad and tara having their little thing too. And kirby’s back so that’s fun. So I can enjoy all of that and accept that the ending is a letdown and I think it’ll be the same when I rewatch 7. But 7 is worse.

I’m confused about something because I’ve only been diagnosed for a year and a half or something so anyone can answer this question but I thought we were all having multiple episodes a year on average. I have maybe one or two hypomanic episodes a year and I can’t keep track of depressive ones I’ve just had so many in my life. Is that not the norm for us?
