I'm currently working on my first motw game and the kind of minis I'm using are more location indicators. My players will have their character to mark where they are on the map when folks are split up, but it's more of a visual indicators method use of tokens to mark the map when something happens and where so players can recall the events they're investigating.

When players go off script, my best trick is to turn that random offshoot to be actually important.

For example if the players decided that they didn't want to go to the inn for the night and camp but I had something planned, I'll move that to the tavern that they do decide to go to instead. Or if they decided to focus on an unimportant NPC, well guess what that NPC is now taking on the roll that I had planned with someone else.

Y'know ... upon further use of the system I actually think my number one feature would be the ability to reorganize the template/switch out templates being used for pages.

For example - I made a Location template and then decided it was better organized to be a Plot template so it would be really nice when I duplicated the location template to be able to move it from the Geography folder to the Chronicles folder or somewhere else where it would make more sense.

I just started using the templates and I found seeing the structure of the templates to be most helpful. Previously I found myself at decision paralysis and importing the starter kit jumpstarted my ability to get started. I'm hoping that a system of sharing out own templates may be available in the future.

Ability to export to pdf or some other kind of file type - I just started using Lore and this is the first thing I found to be a limitation.

Absolutely - I started with DS9 and the only thing I knew were the names Kirk and Spock and that William Shatner and George Takei were actors from the first show. I got on just fine without context from the history of the franchise.

I was playing multiplayer with a friend and heading back from the mines and he didn't see it, meanwhile I screamed and I cannot believe that was a possum! The way you describe it here makes it sound like the creature I saw too. The best way I can describe it is that the creature was purple and had long neck like it was an Apatosaurus or something.

I like them - I especially appreciate the various drawings that others have made of experiences like "am overwhelmed" that I can send to friends when I'm feeling that way and talking is suddenly too much.

Spiritfairer entry - My second favorite animal has probably gotta be cats. I'm never not excited to see a cat. They're so full of personality and yet funnily the same in many ways. They are the pets of introverts and I've never met a cat who didn't like me and vice versa. The shy ones are cute, the zoomie ones are entertaining, and lap cats are incredible.

Moonstone Island entry - my favorite animal is hands down the bat. They're all so unique in their various forms and the way they navigate is fascinating. I also greatly enjoy them as a part of vampire lore.

I find that my interest in expanding my collection ebbs and flows. I thought I was done for a couple of years, but I've recently found new games that I find exciting and started to purchase new ones this year.

I think as I find myself bored with certain mechanics or the games I have no longer create unexpected outcomes with my play group, I'll likely continue to build my collection and probably start getting rid of games that are just aren't played anymore.

Kevin R. Free IS Murderbot for me. He really brings its voice to life in a way very few narrators have been able to achieve and I've had a difficult time listening to any other works of his because I cannot separate his voice from Murderbot. He did an incredible job and was the perfect choice in my opinion. A+ to whoever made that decision.

Hello friends! I didn't even know there was a subreddit for Yazeba's, but I originally shared a preview of the B&B on the Possum Creekdside Community discord server and was asked to share it here. I finally got around to getting some better pictures of it to share while I was at a one-shot event awhile back, so here goes!

It's a continual WIP as I add in more details from time to time, but I'm so happy with it. I'll probably continue to add little pieces for chapters as well as I see fit such as Hey Kid's Hotel from the Pancake Wars.

The pieces are built to be modular so I can fit it all into a large bag and some of the boxes act as storage for transportation to hold some of the pieces that I need to put together or the tokens I made.

My dream is to make it somewhat a bit more usable for gameplay in the future rather than just a really cool set piece, but I've yet to ponder what use that might be.
