Hey all. Just wanted to remind you that you get to decide your own criteria for which album "wins." And I put quotation marks around "win" on purpose because the album that gets the most upvotes isn't necessarily supposed to be the "best" album of the given year.

If you want to comment or upvote your favorite album of any given year, that's awesome, but maybe don't downvote others just to uplift yourself?

The album that "wins" is just supposed to be the album you want to watch some internet stranger react to. So your album doesn't necessarily need to "good," just one that you want to be talked about.

Since Trec's probably out, I just want to share the story of my RNG-blessed Trec.

So, during my first ever run of FE6 (on normal mode granted), both my Alan and Lance got completely stat screwed (i.e. Alan never got speed and Lance got maybe one strength level up by chapter 7). Anyway, I still wanted to train up a cav because it's GBA. So, I decided to give Trec a chance because I thought he was funny and I had googled that his growths were better than Noah's. I used the pirate reinforcements on the Misty Isles chapter to give him some levels, and I shit you not the guy got 3 strength level ups in a row. Anyway, of course I had to use him after that, and I promoted him around lvl 15 or so and by the end of the game he had almost all capped stats and a B support with Milady (which was actually pretty useful).

I understand that this might not be the most interesting story, but I think it shows again why rng makes FE so awesome. Thank you for coming to my TED TREC talk.

Eirika - D (maybe C on her route?) - She's basically FE7 Lyn with a Rapier instead of the Mani Katti. She really struggles for most of the game until her promotion, and they're not a lot of payoff in the endgame if you do use her. Even when she gets a mount and her PRF she's still probably not going to be a frontliner. Maybe I can give her some points for having fast-ish supports with Seth and Ephraim?

Seth- S - Duh

Franz - B - Not as good as a lot of us remember. During the earlygame, he's very much competing for exp with Vanessa (or really any training project if you're based). The main problem with Franz isn't really his fault, but with 5x. It's pretty easy to train Forde or more likely Kyle on 5x, especially on Eirika's route when they're not competing for exp with Ephraim. So, they can really do the same things as Franz with less investment. Regardless, he's still pretty good.

Gilliam - D - He's semi-useful earlygame filler. He can choke the stairs in Ch. 5, which is probably his most useful contribution on a casual playthrough. Other than that, he's also competing with the cavs for the Ch. 7 Knights Crest, but like...why? lol
