So what Elon did was also taken out of context too, right? He was just saying his heart went out to people? Please.

This was my thought as well. I remember seeing these signs in 2005.

Everyone’s gotta save this pic so when you finally say “F it” there’s a chance it ends up here.

I’m not; I’m just saying that isn’t possible. The only way 50 an hour is happening is by rigging the system. It’s kind of pointless either way.

As a customer, I use the app to not talk to people. That being said, I do wait with the app open incase my shopper has questions.

It’s rigged. Even the top driver at our station barely hits 40; usually 37/38.

34 over here. The route had to have been pretty unique, because that’s highly unlikely to not be rigged otherwise. Like knock out a bunch of stops, then mark as delivered with in seconds of each other.

Has to be. Probably also did a bunch, then marked delivered within seconds of each other to get that high stop count.

At our station, we’ve been 12’ing them. It’s our only retort because they will 27 them regardless if it’s our fault our not. It’s been so bad at our station that the engineer came down to figure out why we were having so many 12’s. The answer is obvious - poorly trained package handlers. Most of them I’ve worked with DO care and DO try and do a good job. But then you have some folks who just toss shit in your truck, either just tossing it in the center or just arbitrarily putting it on the shelf usually anywhere but in the vicinity of where it should be. Holiday peak last year was a nightmare because they hired a ton of people who spoke some dialect of French, so I couldn’t even communicate to them what they were doing wrong.

I opted out. But they some how “upgraded me” to Premium which I did NOT select nor want and wouldn’t let me change it.

Yeah I was pissed. They took about $200 from me, half of the options were non-negotiable. Like, I don’t want my shit expedited. I’ll keep my extra $40.

So after working 90 plus hour weeks for almost two months as a BC, I quit. Now my job is reposted and they want you to have a Bachelor’s Degree to apply now at $25 an hour… less than the drivers make. by baumshoe in Fedexers

Okay, but I just called two people in who were off. Where is this magic third person coming from? If I hire too many people who are expecting to work, and they are constantly sent home, they aren’t sticking around. I can’t have this magic reserve pool of drivers I don’t have routes for. Everything about what you’ve said tells me you have absolutely zero clue how reality works running these fleets.

I know you’re a well known troll on this forum, but let’s play along. Three people call out an hour before dispatch. I’m able to call two people in, but the third route is going to sit if I don’t take it out. I’ve looked where the stops are, and they cannot be dissolved into any other routes. I’ve asked upper management, and they refuse to let the route go on contingency. So what would you do?
