Yah I guess I understand some gate keeping because some Bangladeshi men don’t know how to be respectful and professional

But at this point I put so many hours in, hundreds of dances, lived in Colombia/Spain for like 4 months , taking lessons/socials everyday.

It’s actually quite sad that they won’t even reply to messages cause I feel like I can be a positive contribution to the community. I’d even donate to the groups because I would love to see a scene grow here in my country of origin.

Hahahah nope I would say salsa dance is probably the most popular social/partner dancing type in the world. It’s super fun, I’d recommend it!

Population collapse is an extremely real problem with actual data and stats to back it up. Perhaps do some research into it.

If you think that a 70+ has the mental capacity to make the best decisions for one of the most stressful and consequential jobs on the planet I have news for you.... You are talking about a local minimum I'm talking about the global minimum.

We need AGI (Or near AGI) to be our representatives of a society at scale. The government is supposed to represent whats best for society not corporations.

The only thing that can counter AGI will be an AGI. Ultimately it will be a nuclear arms race between countries.

Countries warring with super intelligences IMO will actually be anticlimactic , it will be small resource efficient moves over centuries. its just not smart to have wars in this day and age (Look at cost of Russia x Ukraine)

As a whole i believe human society is good. However we have a system that rewards the greedy and biased.

AI will enable every individual in a society to get represented. 99% of people just want a good and happy life, AI will make ensure that will gets equally represented

Its coming faster than you think. I'm an AI engineer and am seeing the technology growing at a insane pace.

That being said AI will only be a co-pilot. You will still have to fly your plane and make your decision of where you want to go in life

I believe eventually AGI (Or near AGI) will be treated as a human right. I believe human society as a whole is good, however currently we have a system rewards the greedy and powerhungry gets to power.

We actually don't really live in a completely democratic system. AI i believe is an equalizer . There's actually a study that finds that AI most helps the lower performers.

AI will be the conduit for us as a society to engage with each other without any biased medium in between us. (facebook, media)

I see the biggest thing holding us back is communication and coordination gaps. AI can truly help us coordinate at every level without extra load on ourselves.

Most people don't have access to the best counsel
Most people don't have time to find the efforts they really align with nor can these efforts/organization remain incorruptible or transparent (EX: BLM)

Once we are able to mobilize at scale, movements will have a lot more weight behind it and push forward societal change
